Former salesman End of the year is best. Get pre-approved for. Low interest loan. I recommend a credit union. Do not trade in your vehicle. Go to a few dealers, get all of their business cards. When you find the car you want, and know what you want to pay, write that number on one of the salesman business cards from the other dealer. Ask them, how close can you get to this number, as I don’t want to buy from the other dealer.

@dollarsanddata Great article, but that data is from 2022. Where do you think that number is in 2024? I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s already moved to $300,000. Six-figure cars and million dollar homes are no longer uncommon, and I’ve noticed that more and more over the last couple years.

@dcinvestor @Foobazzler Yeah we had our Airbnb account hacked once. They changed the “pay to” account and sent hundreds of spam emails at once to hide the one legitimate email from Airbnb notifying us of the change. Same strategy probably.
