@CostaCoffee I provide WiFi at businesses with line of sight to this building so good enough connectivity is certainly available... Would be interested to know what is wrong.

Whats with the terrible WiFi in the new @CostaCoffee Drive Thru in Market Harborough UK? In practical terms I needed to open @discord which needed a ~100MB update that did not download in 30+ mins. Zero attempts to control congestion, 4000ms+ latency. Basically bermuda triangle..

@linusgsebastian @AmazingZoltan At least in the UK basic things needed for day to day life are VAT exempt. So you could earn up to the first tax threshold and spend a lot of it without paying any tax. Not accounting for tax paid by the producers of those basic prooducts though...

@AmazingZoltan Disagree. Anywhere with sales tax, there is tax on effectively 100% of your income. You'll have to spend it on something. Tax.

Nobody pays taxes on 100% of their income. Even if you earn $1 million/year, you still don't pay taxes on all of it, with the tax rate being 0% on everything below the personal exemption amount. This is a stunning example of basic financial illiteracy from a federal party leader.

Avi Lewis on capital gains tax: "[Rich people] pay taxes on half the money they make [buying and selling things]. And you pay taxes on a hundred percent of what you earn busting your butt going to work every day."

Anyone else experiencing a strange @btbusinesscare fault in the past 24 hours? I have at least half a dozen sites where connection appears to be up but not all traffic is flowing. Bouncing PPP session is fixing it, temporarily. Business as usual process wants to send engineers

@MrNickKnowles @SkyUK Hi Nick, I am an independent installer. Sky Q master and mini boxes needed to be hardwired with Cat cabling for seamless viewing. Without this it's a nightmare. I am sure Billy can sort for you 😀

@SkyUK is there any way you could get our Sky internet to work, our Q Boxes to talk to each other, customer service to do anything they promise, to get the system we are paying for to work consistently or to refund us for time spent on worthless conversations with your team?

I hate my Audi Q8 Etron. I can’t wait to get rid of it. Very inefficient, expensive, poor standard specification and multiple faults over the 18m I have had it. Now it’s a HV electrical issue, power down 25% thankfully already booked in for service in a weeks time.

Typical @EE I really used to love this network but they’ve been nothing but trouble and nonsense for over a year now. Get an alert about rewards points about to expire. Have to use three different credit cards to try to redeem. Don’t receive a verification code.

@cortina @EE 7547 is tr069 - they use it to remotely manage the routers and its been open on every BT hub for a really really long time without any major issue. Connections to the service are authenticated via cryptographic means. Only way to make it go away is use a third party router

Hi @EE My security software is saying port 7547 is open and vulnerable to attack. Looking online it appears port 7547 is usually used by the ISP (in my case EE). Can you advise how I fix this vunerability? Thanks.

@wizzouk 70% of IMAP connections are via IPv6 now; though my rate may be skewed because most email customers also take networks where ive done v6 by default since 2018 ish. I see significant penetration of v6 in mobile networks. Cant easily calculate smtp, though google and MS both doit

A lot of businesses are about to find this out the hard way: If you don’t have SPF, DKIM & DMARC set up properly, you can’t reliably send email to Google or Yahoo anymore – especially for bulk/automated sends. This isn’t “nice to have” security. It’s the price of entry. ✅ Check your domain in seconds: wizzo.gg/domainscan Full breakdown (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, BIMI + what to actually do): wizzo.gg/email-auth-gui… If your domain isn’t properly authenticated, you don’t just have a security problem – you have a deliverability problem waiting to happen.
