Something I've noticed listening to some podcasts is that proponents of the Iraq war are now questioning whether it was a failure. They're saying things like "Iraq has had elections," which I guess makes up for losses in blood/treasure. Eg Robert Kagan said something like this.

To be clear, I too fell for the antiwar schtick at about that point in time and even earlier. I gave up hope in economic populism, but at least, I thought, we’ll get no new wars.
The difference is that Loomer has now become a promoter of the very wars she earlier cheered Trump for avoiding.

During Trump's first term, he elevated Fauci, supported Covid lockdowns (even bitched about Georgia and Florida staying open), claimed Sweden would have a death spiral, did nothing to stop the BLM 2020 riots, and took the shot. None of us need treat him like an infallible god.
