We can do bit and pieces with the consequences of energy abundance but automation will eat much of it and green tech can't offer fraction of jobs nuclear can

@breadandposes @bat020 @Ken_Stonger If Greens put forward an actual industrial strategy with promises of state investment and a green transition for workers in those sectors guaranteed, could see Unite at least supporting those policies vocally without tacitly supporting the party or giving direct financing.

@bat020 @Ken_Stonger No it isn't. Internal democracy doesn't change the reality that I (charity worker) am irrelevant to unite. They are airport workers and oil and gas workers and they will, democratically, mind the interests of those people. That's good! The greens will have to find a compromise

NY Times reports DHS had the so-called "shovel attack" ON VIDEO within hours of an agent shooting an immigrant in MN. There was no attack at all. His friend helped him into the house, and the ICE agent shot through the door for no reason. Just like the victim said! DHS LIES!
