THIS GUY BOUGHT A $31 TOY DRONE AND TURNED CLAUDE OPUS 4.8 INTO ITS ENGINEER
he plugged it into a laptop, explained the control logic in plain english and let Claude build the flight interface
by the end of the session it had calibration, live controls and a browser cockpit moving the drone in real time
most people will use Opus 4.8 to save 12 minutes on emails. he used it to turn cheap plastic into a working demo
the crazy part isn’t the drone. it’s that the bottleneck moved from writing code to describing exactly what you want built
while everyone debates benchmarks, someone with a $31 gadget and one afternoon is already shipping hardware demos

@TheDrkGltch @TomCrown yEaH, why don't the government give contracts to other space companies?!
x.com/visegrad24/sta…
oh... that's why
Visegrád 24@visegrad24
BREAKING: Massive explosion by Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket on a launchpad in Cape Canaveral, Florida Major setback for Jeff Bezos
English

@TomCrown It will be the biggest rug pull in history actually. Space x is government funded. Why does it need to be public. We already pay for its blow ups.
English

@TheDrkGltch @TomCrown Claiming SpaceX is 'government funded' is so blatantly dishonest. They bid government contracts and win because who else is going to deliver what they can??? That's like saying Ford is government funded because the police buy their cars.. but even that has more ground to stand on
English

@2bornotb2 @jbizzle1713 @financedystop Yep not common, but it is available depending on your plan or employer.
English

@Zenbonker @jbizzle1713 @financedystop I think its rare to pick individual stocks in a 401k. Normally its just index funds.
English

@jbizzle1713 @financedystop It’s not impossible. There are ways to pick individual stocks as opposed to pre-selected, divisified target date funds so he could have theoretically traded up to that number. Pretty risky to do, but if you’re young and good at investing/trading…
English

@financedystop Nearly Impossible to have $1.4M in a 401K by 36. Just do the math. 10% annual growth entering the max would be around $500K.

@JSon88726067 @MickMcGirr @suchnerve so the mormons were paid to make mountains to cover up the remains of prior civilizations. makes perfect sense! the only question that remains is who paid them? probably the aliens.
English

@MickMcGirr @suchnerve not the low level loser mormons like you, im talking about the Joseph Smith Jr. “Mormons” means mound builders. Those early mormons were paid to make mountains to cover up the remains of prior civilization on the west coast. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 keep laughing dumb ass fagg0t
English

@BrunosCousin @iamstilljess not really... if you contribute the annual max in one go, it's 2 transfers and you're done.
English

@iamstilljess It's a shame they cap it at 168k to invest in one. Back door Roths are a pain if you're a high earner
English

@terri4436166795 @LRHN_Cash Despite the fact this is way different, I think the cops had every right to shoot this guy too, but sure, spend all your energy 'protecting' the worst criminals while the innocent suffer.
English

@LRHN_Cash Here's a guy resisting and beating the cops and he didn't get shot.... What's the difference?
English

@Colorado_Rick @carbac80 @elonmusk People like this are incapable of doing that. He wants them to fail simply because he doesn't like Elon, so any degree of success feels like a loss to him. Honestly it's just sad.
English

@cardanoan @carbac80 @elonmusk "legacy of change" ~ someone who will have no part in any lasting legacy or change, but will criticize those that will.
English

@MicWatsen @Awk20000 The trial was dropped and the accuser had to issue an apology. People like you are the reason false rape accusations are made. They destroy lives with no consequences. Do better.
English

@danshipper Nah this sucks, and it's not efficient long term. Don't let the vibe coder do anything until the ' reliable structured machine' is established. then give them a bunch of small features a code monkey could do.
English

new model for engineering team structure in 2026:
2 people only
one pirate and one architect
the pirate's job is to move as fast as possible to develop valuable, shipped product features by vibe coding.
the architect's job is to turn the product surface discovered by the pirate into a reliable, structured machine—also by vibe coding, but at a slower, more well-reasoned pace.
every product needs a pirate but most product's only need an architect once they some form of PMF, and in that case they usually don't need one full-time. architects can work across many codebases and solve interesting technical challenges. pirates go hard on a product that they own end-to-end.

@hackagibson @FoxNews I've had Tesla drivers stand 10 toes down that self driving is safer than a person. I don't believe it but that's what they say.
English

'TERRIFYING': Dashcam video shows the moment a Tesla Cybertruck, allegedly operating in self-driving mode, nearly sent a Houston mom and her infant off a bridge before violently crashing into an overpass barrier.
The woman claims she suffered multiple injuries from the incident and is now suing the automaker for $1 million.
English

@beyoncegarden Dude's going 30 in a 55, then speeds up to 70 when the truck tries to pass him.
"WhAt'S tHiS gUy'S pRoBlEm??"
English

@Mn0us @Nagarjunia @KatloKendall @realpeteyb123 Lmao but the 72 virgins thing is pure? and wtf does large eyed woman mean? Y’all don’t like Asians or something?
English

@Nagarjunia @KatloKendall @realpeteyb123 Everything in Jannah is pure.
It is quite obvious you have no sense of what purity is.
English

@LanceWade @AlexFinn To be fair the 512gb unified memory Mac Studio is sold out, you can’t even order it from apple directly right now. And the wait time for other configurations is at record highs
English

Apple just won the AI war
They announced the MacBook Pro M5 Max
What would have cost $40,000 to do with Nvidia chips, now costs $3,000 with a laptop
• 4x faster AI speeds
• Up to 128gb of unified memory
• Frontier intelligence on the go
The biggest complaint about Apple before was their AI speeds
You get insane memory to run big models, but the inference was super slow
Not anymore
Apple played the long game by not spending trillions on AI researchers. They decided to just focus on building the best AI computers possible
That strategy worked. It's over.

English

@CrazyVibes_1 Just set the closing time in DoorDash 30-60 minutes before you actually close?? Or remove yourself from DoorDash?? Or just complain about it 😂
English

I swear I hate DoorDash sometimes.
This wasn’t a small order — it was a full catering order. Not something you casually push through an app last minute.
It came in right as I opened, and I was working a solo double at the food truck. No help. Just me. Then the DoorDash driver showed up 12 minutes early and immediately started pressuring me to get it done faster.
I had to tell him, “You’re going to have to wait. You don’t understand how this just threw off my entire day.”
Meanwhile, I’m thinking — this driver is about to get a $30 tip to drive the food five minutes down the road, and it just took me 40 minutes to prep and package everything… for zero tip.
Twelve hours later, and I’m still irritated about it.

English

@Jorycle @RealJessica Yeah because the mainstream media always tells the truth
English

@RealJessica It's kind of crazy to me that people still unironically post videos of proven liar Nick Shirley.
English

“Nick Shirley: How much money are you spending here at the grocery store?”
“Woman: I just spent $100 on four bags.”
“Nick Shirley: And how much money do you get every week on food stamps?”
“Woman: $525.”
“Nick Shirley: Every single week you get $525?”
“Woman: No, a month. That’s monthly.”
“Nick Shirley: Each month, how much of your income are you able to save?”
“Woman: Not really nothing because rent, gas, I got four kids, school, clothes, barely making it. Almost homeless.”
“Nick Shirley: How do you think people are able to even survive in America?”
“Woman: I don’t know because $100 barely got me through this week.”
“Nick Shirley: How often do you have to find yourself shoplifting?”
“Woman: Oh, no, I don’t shoplift. I’m scared. I did it once. I got caught. Never again.”
“Nick Shirley: Are you hopeful for the future of America?”
“Woman: Very hopeful.”
“Nick Shirley: You support Donald Trump?”
“Woman: I love Donald Trump.”
