THIS GUY BOUGHT A $31 TOY DRONE AND TURNED CLAUDE OPUS 4.8 INTO ITS ENGINEER he plugged it into a laptop, explained the control logic in plain english and let Claude build the flight interface by the end of the session it had calibration, live controls and a browser cockpit moving the drone in real time most people will use Opus 4.8 to save 12 minutes on emails. he used it to turn cheap plastic into a working demo the crazy part isn’t the drone. it’s that the bottleneck moved from writing code to describing exactly what you want built while everyone debates benchmarks, someone with a $31 gadget and one afternoon is already shipping hardware demos

@jbizzle1713 @financedystop It’s not impossible. There are ways to pick individual stocks as opposed to pre-selected, divisified target date funds so he could have theoretically traded up to that number. Pretty risky to do, but if you’re young and good at investing/trading…

@financedystop Nearly Impossible to have $1.4M in a 401K by 36. Just do the math. 10% annual growth entering the max would be around $500K.

I swear I hate DoorDash sometimes. This wasn’t a small order — it was a full catering order. Not something you casually push through an app last minute. It came in right as I opened, and I was working a solo double at the food truck. No help. Just me. Then the DoorDash driver showed up 12 minutes early and immediately started pressuring me to get it done faster. I had to tell him, “You’re going to have to wait. You don’t understand how this just threw off my entire day.” Meanwhile, I’m thinking — this driver is about to get a $30 tip to drive the food five minutes down the road, and it just took me 40 minutes to prep and package everything… for zero tip.
