🔵 Do you have a specific approach in your collection? What do you look for? Do you research the artist, consider whether the piece might gain value over time, or is it more instinctive and based on aesthetics? Ida: It really depends on the type of art I’m collecting. In generative art, I already know most of the artists I collect, and when it’s someone new, I take time to research their work to make sure the code is original and conceptually strong. With non-generative art, I start with the aesthetics, but I also pay attention to the artist’s community and who their collectors are, since that often reflects the strength and sustainability of their practice. 🖼️ Pictured: Chariots Of Paradise by @LaurenceFuller
