You can actually see satellite flares on the left side, aligned just right to reflect the sun to the camera

@mcrs987 I just spent all last night making a longer time-lapse of the same thing. I'm glad someone else noticed how awesome this sequence is & posted one too!

I was downloading the moonshine earth photos to stack for noise reduction & noticed several satellites managed to flare back at Integrity. I already assumed there might be some, but it turns out Starlinks glint at a sharper angle than I thought, so there's actually quite a few.

@kam_isalias @darthk914 @Solosis0o0 I mean it's not that bad of a starting word. I think it's way more fun to do unique starting words each day instead of the same ol' thing every day. I also happened to start with a w word today.

It would be super cool if someone tried to track the SLS boosters for as long as possible after being jettisoned because seeing 2 building sized sticks tumbling around in space is cool asf

🚨⚡️A rare video of a meteorite hitting the Moon is going viral worldwide Because the Moon has no atmosphere, meteorites don’t burn up on impact like they do on Earth

@UltraArcadian @AJamesMcCarthy You are right! Due to their orbits not being perfectly circular or having inclinations away from the equator, they do move a little (or a lot) relative to the earth in varying figure 8 patterns.

@UltraArcadian @AJamesMcCarthy In Andrews' photo he's tracking the sky. That's why the sat moves through the frame. Geo sats stay still in the sky because they are orbiting at the same rate as earth's rotation, so you don't need any fancy tracker to "follow" geo sats.
