The first release version of @TryMapleAI since adding reproducible builds. v3.1.1 has fully reproducible versions of the client side ios/mac/android/linux tauri builds, with scripts to strip signed bytes out to compare against unsigned builds anyone can verify with the provided nix flake. This is likely one of the only tauri apps that has gone through this level of effort and it was no easy task. Codex 5.5 did most of it in an autonomous 48+ hour goal, with several follow ups mostly for linux dep/pathing issues. One of those cases of extremely difficult but verifiable work that ai agents can just go to town on until it works. I can't begin to fathom some of the byte-by-byte level processing and deduction/scripting skills that it took for this. I'll improve on some of the documentation to make this easier for anyone, but I'm simply amazed by this. In this supply chain attack world, efforts like this really do go a long way.

uv has 350k lines of Rust, and 73 "unsafe" calls. The Bun Rust port is already 681k lines of Rust, and has over 13,000 "unsafe" calls.

If you use a variety of open models long enough, you inevitably run into all sorts of problems. Most issues are not model intelligence issues. they are silent errors like outputting no content, malformed tools, etc. Today I'm releasing Attune, a new PoC to try to solve this.

It makes a significant improvements in all the things that don't really matter to me, but that @Justinmoon rubbed in my face anytime I made fun of him for using closed source underfeatured appliance instead of a real computer. That one time he had his Mac running for 3 months without charging it, how soothing is feels to hold that shiny aluminum frame when going to sleep, how well the speakers sound when he blasts country music on full volume in coworking space, how he likes to rub the macbook's touchpad, and make smears on the screen dragging the binary from a tarbar to Applications folder to install something.
