@airindia In addition to that, no accounting was provided for the price of the CJB-DEL sector which typically has ticket prices around $100. Instead $200-$300 was deduced from each ticket. And no accommodation was provided for my parents after they were stranded in Delhi.

@OfficialLoganK Not sure what happened under the hood. But since the update, the API is just too slow. The reason I use Gemini 2.5 is speed, compare to other.

@OfficialLoganK For whatever reason, the new Gemini 2.5 Pro is much slower to first token than the old one. Any reason for that? I figured it might be because of a change in how it uses thinking but it's unfortunate that thinking_budget=0 doesn't work on Gemini 2.5 Pro.

Is it possible to be both YIMBY while also feeling that 60 stories is a tad bit tall for the West Village? Asking for a friend.

I strongly believe in the need to build more housing in all neighborhoods, but a height of 600 feet (60 stories) is obviously out of scale for the Meatpacking District. I have asked the city to pause releasing this RFP and instead issue one with a more appropriate height.

One disappointment with Gemini 2.0 Flash is that the maximum output tokens remains at just 8,192 (same as the 1.5 series) - which limits its utility for whole-document transformation tasks like translation or PDF-to-Markdown
