I spoke with someone from 'corporate' this morning who told me she has to investigate and will possibly get back to me tomorrow. @BestBuy doesn't seem to care and refuses to actually mount the TV. @BestBuySupport help? @Anon76546854773 @ja3k_ But it isn't just driving cost , is it? ALL forms of transportation get more expensive- most importantly that of shipping & transportation trucks. Everything (food, retail, medicine etc.) gets more expensive downstream.

I don’t get this either. We pay much more in the UK and are much poorer yet petrol prices are not seen as a political issue in the same way, sure we drive a bit less and on average have more efficient cars, but it still doesn’t add up. Domestic energy prices however, those are much more politically relevant than in the US.

Idk why gas prices are so culturally salient in america. You could drive an hour a day and it probably comes to less than $3k/year. Is it because they put the price on billboards along the road?
