This is a COMMUNIST policy and it is absolutely utter BS. ANY user activity in an exchange (even a simple login) is proof that the assets ARE claimed. Go F*CK yourself California.

The left image shows our Sun with prominent solar flares (prominences), captured recently. The right is the famous 2022 Event Horizon Telescope photo of Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at our galaxy's center—blurry due to its immense distance (26,000 light-years). The meme compares the "ordinary" Sun to the exotic black hole.

@Zodomo @vulturecorso @ambire The tenderly snap is actually great though. Other wallets are better in a ton of other ways as you point out, but tenderly still has some of the most useful simulations.

Imagine not using the wallet the EF forked to develop their Kohaku privacy wallet and their reference interop wallet implementation (@ambire) I love this wallet, it supports 7702, transaction batching, omni-EVM gas accounts, and more features I don't even use! (not a promo)

Last night around 5pm I sat down to do some work. I opened my Rabby wallet to try out Espresso's new cross-chain mint product, Presto, that Rarible had just put live on mainnet. When I opened my wallet, I immediately saw that $30k was missing...
Jill Gunter ☕@jillgun

The deep irony that as I sat here writing a defense of privacy in crypto to present in DC next week... my wallet was getting drained and the funds are getting deposited into Railgun.

The ability for an account to be fronzen on Sonic has been renounced. Sonic Labs can not freeze accounts or funds, and any mechanism like that would require a validator-approved hard fork. See the renounce transaction here: sonicscan.org/tx/0x5428f6c14… This function was part of an experimental safety mechanism from Sonic’s earliest days. Those capabilities were permanently removed and burned from the SFC contract. Sonic is permissionless. x.com/MitchellDemete…

@BTChip Neither when tornado cash exists and you can prove the source of the funds if needed. But if I had to choose, railgun, barring the high fees. More you can do with it, and someone dusting your wallet doesn't lead to you being censored as easily.

Railgun does one shot AML requiring fast shooters (usually SEAL). PP does continuous AML which has pros (understood by tradfi) and cons (same false negative, delayed false positive, centralization). Which model is best ? Kohaku will help the market decide by supporting both.
0xbow.io@0xbowio

Deposits into @0xprivacypools are continuously monitored using 0xbow's ASP and approval status can be changed retroactively. This is critical so that bad actors can be removed as needed. In other words, the association set never becomes permanently compromised ↓

For anyone already lending stablecoins on Aave, the only reasons I can think of for not moving everything to the Aave app to benefit from the $1M insurance coverage are: - Avoiding KYC - Wanting to use the collateral to borrow Any others I missed?

@Sol_omo_n @tayvano_ Not as bad as some of those morpho vaults, but aave uses a hardcoded $1 oracle for USDe which is largely made up of CEX holdings. So imo their risk analysis clearly isn't perfect.

@LefterisJP @MicahZoltu Light clients need direct wallet integrations, it's an ease of use problem imo. @freedomfactory is the first I've seen that has this, but there'll be light client functionality in the Kohaku SDK as well. I think the bigger issue is dapps being unusable by most without a frontend.

I mean we can still do some stuff with own node. Maybe not historical but using lots of the current functionality yeah we can. But the ecosystem is not built for this, not teaching this and not encouraging it. And all protocol changes move us away from decentralization, and self-hosting. And the incentives are all wrong. Show me the incentives and I will show you the outcome. And the outcome is obvious I am afraid.

AWS is down and then the internet stops working. But the blockchain, it never goe ... wait a minute. Scratch that. This sector is a joke. Everyone preaching decentralization and censorship resistance but in reality ... it's all 100% reliant on the cloud.
