@BelAves @derekahunter I can’t think of that film without thinking of the Father Ted episode with the old women talking about it “You think he’s a woman but then he gets his lad out…” 😂 Then they discuss whose “lad” his “lad” most resembles 😂😂

@derekahunter MOVIE SPOILER - I am one of those who got fooled by the Crying Game. The ability for a man to pass as a woman is not a criteria that means that a man IS a woman.

The only thing that should matter here is does Steph Richard's involvement in this charity improve or worsen the lives of women (and trans men) with endometriosis Of course, she's never experienced endo, but I am certain that there are other people who work with the charity that have not personally suffered with this affliction. As long as she is doing good work, leave her be

Unbelievable. Women shouldn’t be expected to put up with the misogyny of this larping bloke being appointed parliamentary engagement officer as an endometriosis rep. Are they trolling us? thetimes.com/article/fc4f93…

Here's a list of all the criticisms of her expertise made in the article: 1) 2) 3) They're only challenging her 'lack of lived experience', at 73. Imagine if we said a doctor needed to have experienced every illness in order to treat it?

I have stage 4 endometriosis. Today I've been in absolute agony with nausea, hips, back, even my shoulders in pain. This disease is brutal, chronic, incurable and it exclusively affects women. And yet, once again, a biological male, LARPing as a woman, has been appointed as a spokesperson/representative for endometriosis. Women are being erased from our own suffering. Our pain, our bodies, our disease. OURS!! Appointing a man, who can NEVER experience this isn't inclusion, it's invalidation. We deserve advocates who actually live this reality. This is NOT ok!

Ten years ago trans activists were telling me it was a great and trans inclusive song that proved trans people have been around forever (1970 was forever according to children). Now it is forbidden by a man who looks like he should be sitting in a cobbler's window with a little hammer.

"I remember the blatant sexism women endured daily" says a man called "Steph" Richards, he lists endometriosis & menopause like the personal traumas he never had... To conclude he says: "Yes, I'm a Rad Fem"... "Steph" is a total Con-Man... x.com/i/status/20358…

@CopperCation If he had a shred of integrity he wouldn’t have taken the job But he doesn’t of course, he’s a fetishist man who’s secretly getting off on the “validation” of the bullshit I loathe these men so much so I understand your rage, the whole thing is so offensive to actual sufferers

@SVPhillimore @QcWynter “I know what I am and I’m glad I’m a man …. And so’s Lola” Simply brilliant lyrics but some hypersensitive soul like the deeply dull Moby might take offence I suppose 🤷‍♀️ One of my favourite Kinks songs

@QcWynter But it's really sweet! He knows Lola is a man and loves him anyway! Is it 'transphobic' because he entertained any doubt at all?

How can anyone serious suggest the lyrics to Lola are 'transphobic' or 'unevolved' ? He falls in love with Lola, is initially shocked when he realises Lola is male, loves him anyway. I got down on my knees Well, I looked at her, and she at me Well, that's the way that I want it to stay And I always want it to be that way for my Lola Lo-Lo-Lo-Lo-Lola Girls will be boys and boys will be girls It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world Except for Lola Lo-Lo-Lo-Lo-Lola
Dave Davies@davedavieskinks

to @thelittleidiot Moby’s criticism of our song LOLA these are the words sent to me and Ray from our dear friend trans icon @jaynecounty27 #JayneCounty. I am highly insulted that MOBY would accuse my brother of being ‘unevolved’ or transphobic in any way. theguardian.com/music/2026/mar…

Moby, a privileged white, bourgeois male is ‘disappointed to be heterosexual’. Like most ‘trans’ ideologues he’s a man in search of a cause. He could have chosen to challenge sexism, ableism or racism but instead he chose the easy option, other privileged white, bourgeois males.
Dr Sam Inés de la Cruz@Strobe_Lightly

Moby doesn’t like ‘Lola’ because the lyrics are ‘transphobic’. I think it’s fab so here are my top 5 troon tunes: 5. I’m a boy - The Who 4. He’s a woman, she’s a man - Scorpions 3. Arnold Layne - Pink Floyd 2. Dude looks like a lady - Aerosmith 1. Lola - The Kinks (obvs!)

Robin has shared my Sunday Telegraph article on activism and division within Girlguiding over the 'boys ban' - describing the concerns raised as a “hateful philosophy”. That framing overlooks the response to the piece itself. Within hours of publication, there are over 1,000 comments from members of the public - many expressing concerns about safeguarding and the involvement of children in activism. That doesn’t suggest a “hateful philosophy”. It suggests a widely held concern that deserves to be taken seriously. Link to read my article - and see the comments - below (gift link) 👇
