Okay, I already regret asking for help with this. I want to make a "wake up Theo, new model just dropped" button. Basically just an oncall system that triggers when a big new model drops, so I can be sure I'm getting it added/deployed ASAP I don't necessarily want to automate the process of identifying "when a new model came out". I'm okay with manual triggering (I have people who can notify me, just need tools they can access) I REALLY don't want to do pagerduty for this, but every other tool I've tried has had a...weird onboarding and doesn't seem suited to the task. Should I just build it myself? Basic twilio app with a web portal?

Serverless is kind of a scam? I didn't want to believe it either, but this is not right. Bill keeps growing every month. I'm paying for: - Compute Engine - Networking - App Engine - Cloud Run - Functions - Cloud Logs - Artifact Registry - Cloud Storage - Cloud Build Infinite scaling = infinite billing scaling for GCP, AWS, Azure I'm moving this to the real cloud: a VM on @Hetzner_Online.
