I think you need more than this, because passkeys are scoped to the domain, and ideally the domain going down doesn’t mean your funds are gone. I’ve found the combo of private key (ie seed phrase) as root and passkeys for day-to-day to be quite good. And the root is a multisig that is (ideally) spread across different people/institutions I trust (and likely pay to secure). Programmable custody >> self custody.

Imagine if you could export passkeys and store them wherever you want — they’d actually be good.

@Flynnjamm Once you let go of using 1PW for passkeys and embrace the OS you’re using, I find them much easier to use. 1PW handles passkeys atrociously.

passkeys are complete devslop. sexy for devs, still confusing as hell for most users. please devs do not make it the standard way to auth with wallets.

honest review of @tempo. its legit. not another L2. its the future was hacking a quick game @tempaitown. expected the usual Metamask connect wallet sheningans. but no. blew my mind you create a wallet with passkey. one click. was lowkey bracing for the Privy upsell. never came fund it w/ USD from any chain. done. fiat/CC is inevitable bc it's Stripe best is you can create unlimited delegated keys for agents/apps, "$10/day limit". it's configurable like API keys. @gakonst and their engs actually cooked no more smart wallet, paymasters, sponsored gas, all the EVM junk SV undefeated while NY gooning to Vanify Fair. i'm all in

Thank you! I’m spending a lot of time in plan mode and the way it always returns the full plan (no in line diffs etc) makes it hard to review as I want to ensure my comments were addressed, but I have to reread the whole plan…trying to get it to just give me a diff view on the plan

@DogPay_ @0xSplits @tempo No. You can use the platform without KYC. You only need to KYC if you want to transfer to/from your fiat bank accounts.

Introducing TigerFS - a filesystem backed by PostgreSQL, and a filesystem interface to PostgreSQL. Idea is simple: Agents don't need fancy APIs or SDKs, they love the file system. ls, cat, find, grep. Pipelined UNIX tools. So let’s make files transactional and concurrent by backing them with a real database. There are two ways to use it: File-first: Write markdown, organize into directories. Writes are atomic, everything is auto-versioned. Any tool that works with files -- Claude Code, Cursor, grep, emacs -- just works. Multi-agent task coordination is just mv'ing files between todo/doing/done directories. Data-first: Mount any Postgres database and explore it with Unix tools. For large databases, chain filters into paths that push down to SQL: .by/customer_id/123/.order/created_at/.last/10/.export/json. Bulk import/export, no SQL needed, and ships with Claude Code skills. Every file is a real PostgreSQL row. Multiple agents and humans read and write concurrently with full ACID guarantees. The filesystem /is/ the API. Mounts via FUSE on Linux and NFS on macOS, no extra dependencies. Point it at an existing Postgres database, or spin up a free one on Tiger Cloud or Ghost. I built this mostly for agent workflows, but curious what else people would use it for. It's early but the core is solid. Feedback welcome. tigerfs.io

Good reminder that a lot of what we're seeing right now is optimized to look impressive, not be durable or valuable. Peak shiny object season. Very different game than building something that lasts. Focus matters more than ever.

It's worth distinguishing in your head between AI demos that are: — a scratch pad — zero to one on a brand new project with no existing dependencies or cruft — projects that are one person so they have all of the context — and projects that built by a team with multiple stakeholders, customers, revenue, etc.

Alex and team have been spending lots of time thinking about middot truncation for the new Trees library by the Pierre Computer Company. Last night he came across a novel approach to truncation that leverages container queries in a css grid to detect the *moment* of truncation. The solution works on first render from css with no js, fully SSR compatible. Even copy paste works.

@NotionHQ what's up with this? Been using (paying for) Notion for 5+ years - my workspace is set up. How can I remove this? Clicking it opens a chat interface (?) and there is no way to dismiss it.

@vibhu will be working on "solana receipts" (ie deposit address that swaps back to a home chain) soon as well, making it easier to operate on both evm & svm :)

Solana sends are live. You can send funds to any Solana address directly from your Splits accounts - no manual bridging or swapping, no need for a pass-thru EOA.

@Flynnjamm looks cool. mostly playing at the idea that computers cannot be held accountable and thus a Company must have at minimum one human
