arming militias on Ethiopian soil accusations by Ethiopian government and its cadres on Eritreais unfounded. But let’s media silence and selective reporting do not erase reality. The militas have armd themselves by taken over from the Ethiopian military. For years, accusations have been thrown at Eritrea—loudly, repeatedly, and often without accountability when those claims fall apart . At the same time, voices from Sudan and across the region have raised serious concerns about arms flows, militia backing, and proxy involvement like Ethiopian government and UAE arming the janjawi killer groups in sudan, that are conveniently ignored. Dismissing eyewitness accounts does not make them false. It exposes a system more interested in controlling narratives than confronting facts. If governments in the region have nothing to hide, then open the records. Allow independent investigations. Stop hiding behind propaganda while conflicts escalate and civilians pay the price. The Horn of Africa is not a playground for proxy wars, political games, or selective outrage. Respect sovereignty. End the double standards. Let truth—not influence—define the narrative. Eritrea always has non interference policy

While many Ethiopian political elites are still stuck in the past, a new #Ethiopia is rising before our eyes. An Ethiopia where young women can see themselves on TV and aspire to become leaders one day; an Ethiopia where the size of your community cannot limit you from achieving your goals and dreams; an Ethiopia where ethnic-based politics is recognized as a backward and dangerous mindset; an Ethiopia where political parties can freely debate without fear of being targeted; an Ethiopia where no single group advances at the expense of another’s suffering; and an Ethiopia where a government can be challenged through peaceful elections rather than ethnic-based violence.

Horn Review’s article, March 18, 2026, titled “Why Ethiopia Holds Time and Eritrea Is Racing Against It,” is not objective analysis—it is state-aligned propaganda dressed in academic language. The bias begins with the title itself. It is not neutral—it is a preloaded conclusion. It frames Ethiopia as calm, strategic, and in control of history, while portraying Eritrea as desperate, rushed, and unstable. Let’s be clear: No country “holds time.” And no sovereign nation is “racing against it” for defending its sovereignty. This is not analysis—it is narrative manipulation designed to shape perception before the argument even begins. The article follows the same pattern throughout. It consistently presents Ethiopia as strategically superior, technologically advanced, and patiently in control, while reducing Eritrea to a “disruptive actor.” That is not balanced research—it is selective storytelling. It deliberately reframes Ethiopia’s ambitions as “structural necessity” while treating Eritrea’s sovereignty as a problem. The Red Sea and Assab are portrayed as if they remain open legal questions. They are not. International law and established agreements affirmed Eritrea’s territorial sovereignty. Repackaging ambition as legality does not change that fact. At the same time, Horn Review ignores basic realities: Every sovereign nation—including Eritrea—has the right to strengthen its defense and pursue advanced technology Ethiopia is not uniquely “patient” or “strategic”—it is navigating internal instability, economic pressure, and unresolved conflicts Presenting one side as visionary and the other as reactive is not analysis—it is bias The article also leans on exaggerated regional narratives and factual distortions to strengthen its case. When a publication builds a sweeping geopolitical argument while getting core facts wrong, it exposes itself—not as a research platform, but as a messaging tool. Most importantly, the piece manipulates language to control interpretation: Ethiopia’s delay is framed as “strategic patience” Eritrea’s vigilance is framed as “urgency” or “risk” That is not neutral language—it is intentional framing. Let’s call it what it is: Horn Review consistently acts as the eyes, ears, and voice of the Ethiopian government. It amplifies one narrative, avoids inconvenient truths, and presents political positions as academic conclusions. A real research institution questions all sides. A propaganda outlet protects one. Horn Review has made its choice—and it shows.

MR. ABRAR What part of “NO” is so difficult to understand? The Eritrean people have made one thing absolutely clear: we want to be left alone. Period. For decades, Eritreans contributed to building infrastructure, institutions, and economic foundations that others benefited from. And what was the return? Mass expulsion. Confiscation of property. Theft of hard-earned wealth. Families uprooted with nothing. These are not opinions—they are historical facts. Yet despite all of that injustice, Eritreans did not pursue revenge. They chose restraint. They chose to move forward and focus on rebuilding their country. But instead of respect for that choice, the harassment continues—constant interference, endless propaganda, and obsession. At some point, this stops being politics and starts looking like something deeper—an unhealthy fixation. Respect sovereignty. Respect boundaries. Leave Eritrea alone.

Blatant Propaganda, Zero Evidence, and the Manufactured Lies Machine Patrick Heinisch and others parroting this story are not analysts—they are megaphones for misinformation. Let’s cut through the noise: There is not a single credible source—none—confirming that any Eritrean military delegation went to Mekelle or met Tigrayan officials. No official statement. No international media. No verifiable evidence. Yet this fiction is being pushed aggressively as “fact.” That’s not a mistake. That’s deliberate deception. This is how propaganda works: Invent the story Repeat it loudly and endlessly Use foreign voices to give it a fake sense of legitimacy And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. Instead of facts, they rely on: Anonymous claims Echo chambers Coordinated amplification Why? Because the truth doesn’t support their agenda. The use of foreign commentators to recycle these baseless claims only exposes how far this operation has gone—outsourcing propaganda to make it look credible. It’s weak, it’s transparent, and it insults anyone with basic critical thinking. Let’s be absolutely clear: Repeating a lie a thousand times does not make it true—it only exposes the machinery behind it. This isn’t analysis. This isn’t journalism. This is propaganda at its lowest level—loud, empty, and evidence-free.
Patrick Heinisch@PatrickHeinisc1

At the end of February, a small delegation of #Eritrean military personnel led by Brigadier General Eyob Fesehaye travelled to Mekelle, capital of Tigray, to meet with the head of the region's Peace and Security Bureau, Tigrayan General Fisseha Kidanu. africaintelligence.com/eastern-africa…

Propaganda Is Not Policy — And Noise Will Never Become Truth Mr. Daniel Daba is not presenting facts—he is acting as part of a coordinated propaganda network, alongside tens of thousands of aligned social media voices attempting to flood the algorithm, distort reality, and manufacture legitimacy for a claim that has none.Let’s be clear from the start:You cannot suffocate truth with volume.Repetition Does Not Create Ownership No matter how aggressively it is pushed:Ethiopia cannot “reclaim” land it never owned as a sovereign coastal state Ancient empires are being selectively weaponized to justify modern ambition The 1962–1991 period is being deliberately misrepresented as historical entitlement 👉 History is not a title deed, and propaganda does not rewrite borders.Coordinated Narrative, Manufactured Consent This is not random opinion—it is a pattern:Repeat the same message across thousands of accounts Rebrand expansion as “historical right” Frame control as “economic survival” This is how false narratives are engineered—not discovered. 👉 The goal is simple: normalize the unjustifiable through repetition.Legal Reality They Cannot Escape No amount of messaging can override the facts:Eritrea is a sovereign, internationally recognized nation International law protects territorial integrity—not expansionist ambition There is no legal right for Ethiopia to claim another country’s coastline Ethiopia already has:Access to multiple ports Regional agreements Trade corridors 👉 This is not about access—it is about control disguised as necessity.Algorithm Manipulation Is a Sign of Weakness When an argument relies on:Mass posting Coordinated messaging Emotional triggers instead of facts …it reveals one thing: 👉 The narrative cannot stand on its own.Flooding timelines is not strength—it is desperation.Dangerous Rhetoric, Real Consequences This is not harmless political talk. It is reckless incitement:It conditions people to accept territorial aggression It spreads false entitlement across generations It risks pushing the Horn of Africa toward avoidable conflict 👉 You cannot advocate peace while promoting land seizure. The Truth They Avoid This is not about history. This is not about survival. This is about manufacturing justification for something Ethiopia never had. Mr. Daniel Daba and the wider cadre network can flood every platform, repeat every slogan, and amplify every distortion—but it will not change one fundamental reality:Ethiopia needs access, not ownership. Sovereignty is not negotiable. And no amount of propaganda will turn fiction into fact.

Memory Without Accountability Is Hypocrisy Years ago, I visited a Holocaust site and was left in tears. The level of inhumanity inflicted on Jewish people is something that should forever remain a warning to humanity about the consequences of hatred and dehumanization. Because of that, I believed such history would inspire a deeper commitment to justice and compassion for others. That’s why witnessing the suffering of Palestinian civilians today is deeply troubling. No people—anywhere—should endure violence, displacement, or collective punishment. Criticism of political power and policy is not hatred toward a people or a religion. Zionism is a political ideology, not a religion, and like any political movement it should be open to scrutiny and debate. But it is not a single, unified voice, and it does not represent all Jewish people. Jewish communities, like any other, are diverse, with many individuals openly advocating for peace, justice, and coexistence. If we are serious about truth and accountability, we must be precise. The focus should be on policies, decisions, and their real-world consequences—not on generalizations or collective blame. For me, the lesson of history is simple: human dignity must be upheld consistently. Remembering past atrocities should guide us to prevent new suffering—not justify it. Empathy should never be selective. @amnesty @_AfricanUnion @UN

Ethiopia: Belligerent Agenda of Regional Destabilization; (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Research and Documentation Division) *"...Over the past two years, Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party (PP) regime has indulged in a reckless and insidious agenda of belligerence and destabilization against the State of Eritrea and the wider region. The hostile and unprovoked agenda has often been framed and rationalized in 'existential' terms; as the 'imperative for sovereign access to the sea' in the regime’s hyperbolic parlance". *"...The elusive and toxic agenda continues to be flaunted by invoking and recycling fallacious and revisionist historical narratives; alluding to demographic factors that revolve around Ethiopia’s relatively big and growing population size; as well as reciting abstract economic parameters and correlations that are at odds, and in contravention with, foundational pillars of international law". *"...From the foregoing chronology of events and facts, it is palpably clear that the PP regime’s misguided and deplorable agendas, which have no basis in law and history, are anathema to regional peace and stability. And while remaining committed to constructive regional engagement and peaceful cooperation, Eritrea, for its part, firmly rejects any claims or actions that infringe upon its sovereignty and territorial integrity in flagrant contravention of international law.  As underlined on various occasions in the past two years, the Government of Eritrea has no interest or appetite to engage in an acronymous agenda of conflict and turmoil.  It remains resolutely committed to peace, stability, and the responsible management of regional relations". shabait.com/2026/03/18/eth…

EXCUSE THE ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO HEAR Ethiopia’s economic vulnerability didn’t start with Middle East conflicts, and blaming them now doesn’t make any sense. Those wars did not create the problem—they only exposed it. From the beginning, Ethiopia built its system on dependency instead of self-reliance, relying on external support rather than investing in strong infrastructure, energy independence, and sustainable economic foundations. Now, whenever a global disruption happens—whether in the Strait of Hormuz or the Red Sea—the same weakness is revealed. But instead of addressing the real issue, some try to turn it into a political narrative, using external crises to justify ambitions and shift blame. Let’s be clear: supply shocks don’t create structural failure—they expose it. Ethiopia’s challenges come from years of poor planning, heavy reliance on imports, and failure to build resilience. Turning Middle East conflicts into a warning narrative for its people is not analysis—it’s deflection. A country that is prepared does not panic every time global routes are threatened. Real stability comes from self-reliance, diversification, and competent planning—not from excuses or recycled rhetoric.
Institute of Foreign Affairs - IFA@ifa_ethiopia

The U.S.–Israel–Iran confrontation directly threatens Ethiopia’s economic and energy security by exposing its heavy reliance on Gulf supply routes. Miftah Mohammed argues that disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and Red Sea insecurity jeopardize Ethiopia’s fuel imports, trade connectivity, and macroeconomic stability. However, he suggests Ethiopia can mitigate these risks through strategic hedging, energy diversification, and proactive diplomacy—leveraging BRICS+ and regional frameworks to secure maritime access and regional leadership. The political theater continues. Abiy Ahmed and his media team carefully stage these performances, cameras ready, waiting for the next dramatic moment to sell to the public. It is the same script every time — symbolism, speeches, and carefully crafted images meant to distract from the reality on the ground. But no staged photo opportunity can hide the suffering of millions of people in Ethiopia. While the cameras focus on the performance, the world should ask the real question: what about the countless civilians who have suffered from war, displacement, and violence across the country? Leadership is not measured by theatrics or carefully staged moments. It is measured by the safety, dignity, and well-being of the people. When millions are affected by conflict and humanitarian crises, political drama cannot replace accountability. The Ethiopian people deserve truth, stability, and peace — not another performance for the cameras.

THE FALSEHOOD ETHIOPIAN ELITS SPREADING FAKE PROPAGANDA AGAINST THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF "FANO" HERE IS THE FACT Based on available U.S. Department of State reports from 2023, the United States has not formally designated the Amhara Fano militias as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). While the Ethiopian government has identified Fano as a significant domestic threat, it is not currently on the official US FTO list.  U.S. Department of State (.gov) +2 Context: The U.S. Department of State Country Reports on Terrorism 2023 mentions Fano along with the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) as causing "domestic threats," but this is distinct from a formal terrorist designation. Designation Process: Formal FTO designation (under 8 U.S.C. §§ 1182 (a)(3)(B)(i)(IV)-(V), 1227 (a)(1)(A)) carries severe financial and travel restrictions. Ethiopian Conflict: The report highlights that Ethiopia faces significant security issues from various groups, including al-Shabaab,
