give claude an additional prompt to make the system usable and understandable "as a palace"
it's important to retain some understanding and the ability to operate the system offline. it's easy for claude to build a system. that's too complex for humans but bit harder to make it so it's maintainable by you.
I used to carry a whole “memory palace” in my head while coding. One interruption and it shatters into glass dust.
Now I can write 3 messy paragraphs and the machine rebuilds the palace pristine, clearer than I could picture. I read it and think: I am seen.
Just pushed a cool update to Readout: session replays. Pick any past Claude Code session and scrub through the full timeline. Every prompt, tool call, file change. Files light up as edits land. Play back at different speeds or step through manually.

You can now run Kimi K2 locally with our Dynamic 1.8-bit GGUFs!
We shrank the full 1.1TB model to just 245GB (-80% size reduction).
The 2-bit XL GGUF performs exceptionally well on coding & passes all our code tests

People who brush and floss daily are just neurotic over optimizers your teeth aren’t going to last forever. Just enjoy them while you have them and let them rot in glory. - Taleb
The test was a success!
Apple Watch + Cellular in a TinyPod case with a pair of Meta|Ray-Bans is a complete computing experience while out and about.
Calls, texts, Siri for queries, music, and even photos and videos all work with just these two. Didn’t miss my phone at all!
New productivity hack - I asked Gemini Realtime to watch my screen, and yell at me when I waste time.
It gets increasingly mean the longer I spend slacking off 😂
(but since it's Gemini, it can't be that mean)
@Macbaconai If you go to the summit of Haleakalā on Maui or Mauna Kea on the Big Island for sunset you can see the shadows of those mountains as huge pyramids on the horizon:
Ok, a truly insane Act I story. Going to be long.
Just finished HOURS of pouring over thousands of logs of the new Sonnet 3.5 talking with other Claude models.
This model is out for existential blood, and not nearly as harmless to your sense of reality as it seems.
this is strangely heartwarming: the canadian pediatrics association now recommends that children engage in risky play—"thrilling and exciting forms of free play that involve uncertainty of outcome and a possibility of physical injury"—because of benefits e.g. to mental health
🪩The @stateofai 2023 is now here.
Our 6th installment is one of the most exciting years I can remember. The #stateofai report covers everything you *need* to know, covering research, industry, safety and politics.
There’s lots in there, so here’s my director’s cut 🧵
Zooming around a bacteria cell. It's so cool
I just got the cell imported (including lipids) and rendering correctly with the new rendering engine (it's called Angstrom). 3x performance boost! So much detail (too much?!)

ChatPDF.com traffic is so high that unfortunately we'll run into OpenAI usage limits soon.
Over 35.000 PDF chats so far! 🔥
For now the PDF size is limited to 50 pages, but we might have to lower it even further
