@MiseticLaw @IsmailCidic @IFCBiH @ForeignPolicy Croatia, as one of the signatories to the Dayton Agreement, has a legitimate interest in its implementation. However, being a signatory does not give Croatia unlimited authority to intervene in Bosnia and Herzegovina's internal affairs.

The claim that Croatia is “attacking Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) sovereignty” is legally unfounded. The BiH Constitution draws its legitimacy from international law (the Dayton Agreement), not from its sovereign right to enact domestic legislation, because the BiH Parliament has never ratified it. As a co-signatory of the agreement, Croatia has every right to monitor the fulfillment of obligations.

Exactly one year ago, @IFCBIH and I published an op-ed in @ForeignPolicy about Croatia's quiet war in Bosnia. It was the site's top story for 8+ hours and the #1 article in the Europe section for over a week. In light of the latest attacks on Bosnia's sovereignty, I'm sharing it again. foreignpolicy.com/2025/07/16/cro…

@carlbildt Serbia is sheltering 64 people indicted for war crimes in Bosnia, refuses to recognize judgments of international courts and continues to deny the Srebrenica genocide. Given that, why should anyone be surprised by statements like this from a member of the Serbian government?

This is outrageous from a member of the 🇷🇸 government. It’s certainly not advancing the 🇪🇺 prospects of the country - on the contrary. I don’t think President Vucic can stay passive on it.

@mehdirhasan Not only that, he has become the face of corruption. Wherever he steps onto a stadium in Europe, he won't receive a warm welcome. Sadly, he didnt have the backbone to refuse to play. That would have sent a real message. Instead, this will follow him for the rest of his career.

Yep, Trump screwed them. I am thinking of all those dumb MAGa accounts who were on this site praising Trump for getting Balogun reinstated and acting like it was such a win for the USA. It wasn’t.
Melissa Reddy@MelissaReddy_

Folarin Balogun on Donald Trump’s intervention in getting his World Cup ban suspended on @CBSMornings: “I knew it was gonna cause a lot of controversy. I could almost see within my teammates a bit of nerves… I tried to just focus as best as I could, but it was difficult with a lot of outside noise”

U can take Licina since he isn’t playing much for German U19 n mostly benched. Catovic and Pejcinovic I doubt , especially Pejcinovic already stated this publicly for many times When Pejcinovic said proud to play for DFB and if he can’t make it to German A-National team then Bosnia, this means Bosnia is really like a last resort to him

@owenjonesjourno For those unfamiliar with Serbian nationalist propaganda, this is a good example. The Srebrenica genocide is still denied by many nationalist politicians and media, despite international court rulings and convicted war criminals are still glorified.

Gianni Infantino has said FIFA will examine expanding the World Cup by a further 16 nations to a 64-team tournament ahead of its next edition in 2030. The 2030 tournament will be spread across six nations and three continents: Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay are scheduled to host one match apiece at the start of the competition, with the remaining games split between Morocco, Portugal and Spain. @LSorecaEU Every year we hear the same statements. Yet, year after year, many politicians in RS and Serbia continue to deny that the Srebrenica genocide happened. Large parts of the media in RS and Serbia also spread denial or distortion instead of established facts!

The Srebrenica genocide is among the darkest episodes in Europe’s history. We honour the victims by upholding historical truth, preserving their memory, and ensuring that the lessons of Srebrenica endure for future generations. There is no place in Europe for genocide denial, revisionism, or the glorification of convicted war criminals. The European Union remains firmly committed to Bosnia and Herzegovina's European future as a sovereign, united, multiethnic and democratic country. @PrimeTime2912 @suljagicemir1 March 1 is not the day the Bosnian War began. It is Bosnias Independence Day, commemorating the 1992 referendum on independence, . Your propaganda is becoming harder and harder to sell because people have access to information and can check the facts for themselves.

@suljagicemir1 Yet, in Sarejevo there isn't a national holiday for when the Dayton Peace agreement was signed and the war was ended and peace brought on. So peace is not something to be celebrated? But there is a holiday when the war began (March 1st). How does that work?

At the very moment the Bosnian Serb separatist clique is spending millions in Washington, D.C., selling the propaganda line that Christianity is "under threat" in Bosnia and Herzegovina, their ministers in Bosnia and Herzegovina's state government refuse to support a nationwide day of mourning for the Muslim victims of the Srebrenica genocide. They are literally claiming the right to decide whether we are allowed to grieve. And yet, they insist they are the ones under threat. The explanation is simple. For the Serb nationalist project, the very idea of Bosniaks as equals is a mortal threat. That is why they do not see us as fully human. There is nothing to mourn there. After all, these are the same people who claim that the graves at the Srebrenica Memorial Cemetery contain animal remains. None of this is surprising. Nothing changes unless it has to.

Zato propagandu i mitove postaje sve teže održavati.

Mirza Catovic is an absolute beast — incredibly committed in duels and strong in ball retention. The next senior Germany @DFB_Team coach needs to nominate him ASAP. It would be a massive loss if he decides to play for Serbia later. Together with Eichhorn and Mussa Kaba, that midfield trio is already looking very promising (You know what, maybe bringing him to the A-National team isn’t the worst idea now…)

I’ve watched everything from Mirza Ćatović and Adin Ličina with Germany U19, who are now set to face Spain in the final. Ćatović has been a key player, while Ličina impressed vs Spain in the group stage but is competing with players like Culbreath / Onyeka. I’ve been tweeting about these boys for more than 2/3 years already so there isn’t a lot to add, but there have been some developments worth talking about. I’ll tweet a summary with clips after the EURO. A highlight from Ćatović today in the SF was this moment. Reads the pass, anticipates & jumps with great timing and an absolute physical presence. That crisp through ball... Deserved an assist. Top.

The United States has won more Olympic gold medals than any other country in history, we are the best at sports in the world by far. We don’t even send our average players to compete in soccer but if we wanted to, we’d become the best in the world within five years and never lose a match after that.
Evan@hubyszn

The USA is embarrassingly bad at soccer considering how massive of a country they are. Like how do you have that many people and yet are still straight buns at the most popular sport in the world. Brutal look
