Jokes aside, a lot of people don't understand how important ads are. People spend $350B a year on ads, its the single biggest way companies do marketing. Every startup in the world, including PLG ones run ads on Google. All of them will look to spend money on ChatGPT, its the single biggest marketing spend change in the last 20 years. It opens up a whole host of new markets, new users, new spend, that people have been waiting for. Obviously people are going to hate ads for moral reasons but if you're running a business, the next couple months will be the biggest opportunity that we'll probably see in our lifetimes. When Google Ads came about, it changed incumbents from offline to online. With ChatGPT Ads, its going to be non AI native to AI native.

Cultivated meat news! USDA just cleared @MissionBarns for commercial sale, making it the *first* cultivated pork company in the world to receive both FDA and USDA approval. This milestone follows in the footsteps of Upside Foods and Good Meat, which earned dual approvals for cultivated chicken back in June 2023. Why does this matter? Dual agency clearance (FDA for safety, USDA for labeling and inspection) is the gateway to full-scale commercialization in the US. What's more, the team has the capabilities and plan for a) scaling product, b) at cost-effective unit economics, and c) we know from taste tests that consumers love it.
