Serious question, if every company has an AI agent spamming hundreds of cold emails per day, is anyone really going to respond to that? I can’t imagine this working long term.

@emaillove quietly hit 1M pageviews this year! 🎉 That's a ridiculous amount of email inspiration being consumed by marketers around the world. Our numbers from August 2024 to July 2025: → 1.2M pageviews (↑ 231%) → 239K unique visitors (↑ 164%) → 290K total visits (↑ 154%) → 4.31 pages per visit (↑ 30%) 3m 56s session duration (↑ 28%) Honestly, we're thrilled with this growth. But here's what's really fascinating: @OpenAI ChatGPT is now our 6th biggest referral source. A year ago, I didn't even notice AI traffic, but If this trend continues, I could see ChatGPT being a top three referral source for us in the next 12 months. It's impossible to measure exactly how much traffic AI is taking versus sending our way. But I'm optimistic we'll come out ahead. Email Love is inherently visual - unless ChatGPT starts embedding our actual email screenshots in responses, people still need to click through to see the full examples. The fact that thousands of people monthly are discovering us through AI conversations suggests this is already happening. Question for fellow marketers: Are you seeing ChatGPT show up in your analytics? Is this a threat or an opportunity for your business? P.S. We made our @PlausibleHQ Analytics completely public if you want to dig into the data yourself: plausible.io/emaillove.com

I’m starting a new series on Email Love where I set up an e-commerce store for our swag. I’d like a platform that makes the products on demand and connects with an ESP. Any recs?

This is your annual reminder that there are thousands of people trying to read emails that look like this on plane wifi. Using HTML text requires a little more thinking and compromise when it comes to design and fonts, but it’s worth it. P.S. the @emaillove Figma Plugin lets you build responsive and accessible emails that don’t look like this. Sent from Unitedwifi.com

Today, we pushed our 85th update to the @emaillove @figma Plugin since launching in July 2024. Most of these updates are the "behind-the-scenes" stuff that makes your workflow smoother – optimizing image rendering, fixing integration hiccups, improving the UX. Much of this is unglamorous work! A good example of a boring but useful feature that we recently pushed is: Multi-API key management. If you're an agency, freelancer, or large company with multiple ESPs, you know the pain of constantly switching and managing integrations. I've felt this pain myself, so now you can save and name multiple API keys within the plugin and switch between clients with a couple of clicks. What's coming next: → Custom component library (save your headers, footers, layouts directly in the plugin) →AI-powered error detection (catch mobile rendering issues before they happen) → Improved code optimization (Using AI to optimize the size of an email rather than simply minifying the code.) → Generative AI email builder (upload a brief, get a 70-80% complete email draft) The goal isn't to replace the marketer or design team; it's to speed up the repetitive stuff so you can focus on strategy and results. So, there is a glimpse into what we've been working on. Let me know what you'd like to see on our roadmap!

Everyone shares glowing testimonials, but what about the people who have issues, can't get your product to work, or simply love to hate? Here's some of the negative feedback we've received on the @emaillove Figma Plugin: → Doesn't work, give me a refund. → Your sh*t sucks! → I have been messing with email love for a few weeks, and we are not having success. The truth is, if you aren't familiar with Figma, our plugin won't magically turn your email into the responsive and accessible email that you were hoping for. It also won't work without at least a little training or watching a tutorial or two. I'd be lying if negative feedback didn't hurt, but then I try to resize an image in Photoshop and realize we're not so bad. I've also had the privilege of helping and seeing some top-tier lifecycle marketing teams learn our plugin and start cranking out some amazing work! The key is to focus on attracting the right type of customers, while making it obvious that it's not right for everyone. So, if you fit this profile, you might also love building your emails with our plugin: → You already use and like @figma for designing emails → You use an enterprise email platform like @Iterable, @Braze, @customerio or @salesforce → You're a small but agile lifecycle marketing team with access to some design resources → You want to quickly and efficiently design and build high-performing emails directly in Figma And if you don't fit that profile, we probably aren't for you. And that's okay. Have you ever received bad feedback on your product?

We just launched Email Love Pro! Email Love Pro is the only place where you can get curated email inspiration AND see all the emails a brand actually sends AND get insights into their sending behavior and creative strategies. All in one place. Here's what's cool about it: →  All the inspiration is still free. You don't even need to sign up to browse emails, see them in dark mode, on mobile, or with images turned on or off. → But if you want to go deeper (and you should), Pro gives you everything. Complete brand journeys. Sending behavior analytics. Creative strategy insights. Access to exclusive insights and events from the Email Love team. → We're also building some wild stuff for Pro users — an AI assistant trained on our entire email database, advanced search, and team collaboration features. The goal isn't just to show you pretty emails (though we have plenty of those). It's to give you the strategic intelligence to understand WHY certain emails work and HOW your competitors structure their entire email programs. If you're curious, sign up for a free account first and take it for a spin. No credit card required. Check out Email Love Pro here → emaillove.com/pro What do you think? Is this the kind of email intelligence you've been looking for?

After way too many delays (and headaches), Email Love Trends is finally live! We signed up for emails from nearly 4,000 brands across 22 categories and have been analyzing everything- send frequency, ESP usage, authentication rates, subject lines, etc. What you'll find inside Email Love Trends: → How often brands in your space really send → ESP market share by category → DKIM/DMARC adoption rates (yikes it's not 100%) → Dark mode CSS usage → Outlook optimization across categories Now you can use Email Love to understand what's actually happening in email marketing, benchmark your strategy against real industry data, and discover insights that help you send better emails. How to check it out: Log into emaillove.com and start exploring. It's still in beta so expect some rough edges while we wrangle all the data. Feedback and feature requests are welcome! Check it out here → emaillove.com/trends Lastly, Email Love Pro will be launching soon, so check out all that Trends has to offer while it's open to everyone.

It's a Jaina Mistry takeover on Email Love this week! Jaina’s been in the email game for 15+ years (you've 100% read her amazing content on Litmus.com), and she’s put together a collection that’s all about educating subscribers in smart, thoughtful ways. We’re talking newsletters, promos, and transactional emails that actually do something — build trust, drive action, and make the customer experience better. Her picks are sharp, strategic, and super scroll-worthy. Honestly, this is one of my favorite collections! Featured brands include @ynab, @tushy, @zightlife, and @everlane. A few months ago, I asked a simple question: Do marketers prefer seeing every email a brand sends or just the best ones? → 73% wanted curated inspiration → 27% wanted to see it all This validated our approach at Email Love—quality over quantity. But it also revealed something interesting: while marketers want curation, many are still hungry to understand the complete story behind successful email strategies. Today, I'm excited to introduce Email Love Brands: Where curation meets comprehensive analysis. Here's what makes it special: → The Best of Both Worlds You'll still get my handpicked selection of the best emails. But now, you can also dive into complete brand archives to study every email a brand sends us. → Clean, Trackable Data We're now processing 10K+ emails monthly across 10+ industries (from SaaS to travel, apparel to restaurants). Each email is cleaned—no tracking links, properly hosted images, and the ability to view each email on mobile, in dark mode, and with images turned on or off. → Strategic Insights Want to know when top brands send emails? How often? What subject lines they use? Now you can. Our growing database reveals patterns that can shape your strategy. Plus, we'll be adding trend reporting soon! So, check out Email Love Brands and let me know what you think → emaillove.com/brands P.S. You can still submit your favorite emails to be featured on the homepage, and if your brand is missing, I will be happy to add it! Just email me at hello@emaillove.com.
