The US and Israel are unlikely to win this war, not only because Iran’s response has already proven qualitatively different from previous confrontations, but because their stated strategic objectives are so maximalist that to call this an existential war doesn't do it it justice. What they have launched is a state-annihilating campaign, and that ambition sets a strategic bar too high to conceivably achieve. Trump has openly called for regime change and the complete demilitarization of Iran, not merely the dismantling of its nuclear program, but the elimination of its missile program, that is, its defensive capabilities. Israeli officials, meanwhile, are declaring that "We are attacking the entire Iranian political and military leadership — past, present and future". This type of language suggests that what they are demanding even transcends surrender within a new Epstein-genocidal order, whereby Iran could continue to exist as a state. What they are calling for isn't just for Iran to stop being an Islamic revolutionary republic, but for Iran to stop being a state altogether and, by denying it the capability to defend itself, to ever reconstitute itself as a state in the future. Iran today is not just asserting its right to defend itself, or even its right to defend Palestine and sustain the resistance project as a whole, but the right of all states and peoples to control their territories and freely determine their destinies.

O Allah, protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, and protect the lands of the Muslims in the East and the West, the North and the South. O Allah, make it a land of safety and security, a land of honor and strength, a land of justice and mercy, and remove from it all trials, both apparent and hidden. O Allah, bless its leadership and its people, grant it lasting stability and prosperity, and make it a source of support for the oppressed, relief for the distressed, food for the hungry, and comfort for the broken-hearted. O Allah, protect the Sacred Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and grant multiplied reward and sincere acceptance to every pilgrim and visitor who comes to them. O Allah, unite the ranks of the Muslims, reform their affairs, replace their fear with security, their sorrow with joy, and their hardship with near relief, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, whoever intends harm against our lands and the lands of the Muslims, occupy them with themselves, turn their schemes against them, and protect our Ummah with Your protection that cannot be overcome. O Allah, grant these lands more goodness and blessing, make them a beacon of guidance, a symbol of generosity, and a voice of justice and mercy for all humanity. Ameen, O Lord of the worlds. 🤲🏻

GeoConfirmed@GeoConfirmed·
GeoConfirmed Investigation - October 7th 2023 - Publication of the map. geoconfirmed.org/7oct Also named Operation Al-Aqsa Flood - Black Sabbath - Simchat Torah Massacre - the 7 October attacks. In the early morning of October 7th, different factions, likely coordinated by The Palestinian Joint Operations Room, launched a major attack launched on Israeli territory. It is considered one of the deadliest days in Israeli history, with a total of 1,195 people killed according to official figures, including 815 Israeli civilians (including 36 children), 71 foreign nationals, and 379 members of Israeli security forces. In addition, 251 hostages were taken, many still in captivity, creating the worst hostage crisis in Israeli history. (Sources: france24.com/en/live-news/2… csis.org/analysis/hamas… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_7…) The GeoConfirmed volunteer team has undertaken the ambitious task of investigating and documenting the events of that day. For over 2 years, our volunteers have collected and analyzed publicly available footage, establishing their locations and a timeline of the events. Despite experience monitoring multiple conflicts, the footage from that day is among the most disturbing that they have ever encountered. However, due to the proliferation of misinformation about these events, we believe it is important to organize the footage in one place and index it in space and time so that anyone with doubts can see what happened with their own eyes. Though we have chosen to publish our map, there are still hundreds of additional frames awaiting analysis. But, given the gravity of the events on that day, we have decided to move forward with publication of our map, rather than waiting for the analysis of the additional frames, which could take several more months. The time of our volunteers is a finite resource, and we continue to monitor global conflicts, including the wars in Ukraine, Myanmar, Gaza, Sahel region and more. Our hope is that publication now will encourage others to share open-source efforts at documenting the October 7th attack. Terminology For this investigation, the following terminology is used: Militants: Individuals assessed to be Palestinian, carrying weapons or identified by other markings like headbands. We use this as a category for all militant groups involved in the attack. Other options were fighters, insurgents, terrorists, or unlawful combatants, but because the appropriate use of such designations depends on many factors, some hard to measure, we decided to use the term “militants.” Israeli Security Personnel: Individuals identified by their uniforms and gear, including military (IDF), police, and other armed security. Palestinian/Israeli Civilians: Individuals dressed in civilian clothing, without any visible weapon. Methodology A significant portion of the footage in this investigation comes from GoPro cameras worn by militants involved in the attack, most collected after they were killed by Israeli security personnel. Other footage was recorded by first responders, security forces, and civilians using cell phones, dash cams, and surveillance cameras. Almost all of it is collected from social media networks such as X/Twitter and Telegram. Geolocations are determined using well-established methods, comparing features visible in the footage with satellite and panorama imagery that is publicly available from tools like Google Earth and Google Street View. Each geolocation is accompanied by a proof, an annotated diagram used to explain the geolocation analysis, typically as X/Twitter posts published by our volunteers. Readers can thus verify for themselves the geolocations published on our map. The timeline of events is based on comparison of the footage, sun angle, and other contextual clues. While locations can be determined precisely, timing is an informed assessment. Militant Groups (Picture source: longwarjournal.org/archives/2020/……) There are different Palestinian militant factions under an umbrella group known as The Palestinian Joint Operations Room, and some of those factions are designated as terrorist organizations by the US, EU and other nations. eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/… Militant groups can at times be recognized by the well-known color and style of headbands that they wear. At other times, a group’s participation can be inferred when they publish footage and claim responsibility on their official social media channels. For our October 7 map, we have chosen to align the pin colors with the corresponding militant groups involved. For example, if you want to view all geolocated footage involving hostages, you should select the hostage icon from each faction (represented by different colors) to display all related incidents on the map. Identified participation of militant groups based on the visual headbands in footage regarding Oct 7th 2023: (Some of those also identified by @BBC Verify: bbc.com/news/world-mid…) Green: Hamas, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades Map colour: Dark Green Black: Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Al-Quds Brigades Map colour: Black Black: Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, Mujahideen Brigades Map colour: Grey White: Palestinian Freedom Movement, Al-Ansar Brigades Map Colour: White Red: Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PLFP), Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades Map Colour: Red Red: Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, National Resistance brigades, also known as Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces or Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces. Map Colour: Pink Yellow: al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades Map Colour: Yellow Other used colours: Dark Blue: Israeli Security Personnel Light Blue: Israeli Civilians Brown: Palestinian civilians Light Green: Palestinian Militants of unknown affiliation Purple: Unknown affiliation (Could be Israeli or Palestinian) (Picture source: en.milligazete.com.tr/press_release_……) Based on all the footage we have seen, some of our insights about this attack: On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a coordinated and unprecedented attack on Israel. The assault began around 6:30 a.m., at sunrise, with a massive barrage of rockets fired from Gaza into southern and central Israel, overwhelming defense systems. As rockets rained down and all non-essential Israeli personnel and civilians took shelter, the first wave of militants from various factions began their assault on the heavily fortified border. To initiate the attack, they deployed bomber drones to disable the remote-controlled machine guns positioned on the watchtowers. Using explosives and bulldozers, they breached the border fences and walls, creating multiple entry points. Some militants infiltrated Israel by sea near Zikim, while others used motorized paragliders to cross into Israeli territory, tactics that had been rehearsed in joint drills prior to the attack. After the border defenses were breached, the militants advanced toward IDF bases, where they killed and captured Israeli soldiers. Due to the lack of defenses and the rapid pace of the operation, the militants soon began raiding nearby kibbutzim. They showed no mercy to anyone they encountered, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians—sometimes in extremely brutal ways, including throat-cutting. Cars and houses were set on fire. During the attack, homes were set on fire, and widespread looting took place, with Palestinian militans and civilians stealing property, equipment, and even animals from the affected communities. The sheer number of attackers, including both militants and civilians, overwhelmed local defenders and contributed to the scale of violence and abductions. Based on available footage, the first wave consisted of well-equipped militants wearing military gear and carrying weapons, from RPGs to sniper rifles. They used trucks, including technicals, and motorcycles to move quickly. This initial group was followed by a second wave: armed Palestinian civilians: dressed in civilian clothing but carrying weapons. Before noon a third wave arrived: Palestinian civilians, numbering in the hundreds or possibly thousands, who crossed the border to loot Israeli kibbutzim. Footage also showed not only militants but also Palestinian civilians taking hostages during the chaos. As hostages were transported back to Gaza, the hostage-takers were cheered by Palestinian civilians, some of whom spat on or beat the captives as they passed. Armed militants also brought some hostages to Palestinian hospitals. It took the IDF several hours to, and in some areas multiple days, to fully clear the region of militants, as they confronted the aftermath of one of the largest terrorist attacks in Israel’s history. We want to caution you that some of the footage from October 7, 2023, shared in this thread may be very graphic, as we have selected videos to highlight the intensity and harshness of the events on that day. Credits This is a @GeoConfirmed Investigation conducted by @TwistyCB, @GeoRaccoon, @davidnewschool, @COUPSURE and @MiddleEastBuka, @adler_zvi and @KJ_X23 with the support of @PowerPigeon2. We want to thank all the other geolocators and the full geolocation community, without their geolocations and support this investigation wouldn't have the same value as it has now. 🔴 Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee, has just been stabbed three times in the neck and chest by a black repeat offender and racist criminal. She does not scream in pain, horror, or terror; she does not cry for help; she does not struggle; she puts her hands over her mouth, discreet and delicate, calling for help with a simple glance, twice, to the black woman next to her who does not move, and collapses 20 seconds later. This is what is happening in the West: civilization against barbarism, delicacy against brutality. Enough!

Something isn’t adding up here. Apparently according to Zionist-Western media, Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles but Iran, which exports missiles to Hezbollah, Russia, and to the Houthis, only has 3,000 missiles. Iran has apparently fired almost all its missiles.

WhatsApp is an attack vector for Pegasus. This is old news. What people don't grasp is the cell radio/SIM will betray a person's location more accurately than any app or even GPS. 2G and 5G are most dangerous. 5G can even reveal a target's location in 3D space i.e. which floor they're on in a building.
Seth Harp@sethharpesq

Iran accused WhatsApp of providing its users' "last known location" to Israel. In its unconvincing denial, WhatsApp used weasel words to sidestep that allegation, which it did not directly address.

@AryJeay they are just using the superior F35 range to attack probably from outside of the iranian territory or atleast outside of the big cities that are usually well defended by air defense systems. But this doesn't mean they dont have air superiority

Israel keeps claiming they have air superiority and have free will to fly above Iran — but that’s not true. In Tehran, there were no sound of jets. I asked friends in Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashad and Ardebil and they confirmed to me that they did not hear any jets.

Israel inflicted pain to force a massive reaction from Iran. That, in turn, would bring in the U.S. to target critical sites like Fordow ➡️ This also means that the operation has not neutralized anything critical, besides IRGC personalities

Christians don’t feel that way. It’s the Palestinians that have been taught that. The better questions to ask is why hasn’t Hamas built bomb shelters for their people instead of using them as human shields? Why does the PA pay their families to use their children and women as human shields for being martyrs?

A disheartening message today from a cousin in Gaza: “I say it frankly, we can no longer live. Help and save the people of Gaza. There is no food - no flour - no clean water - no medicine for treatment - no hospitals :( :(“ As I have mentioned, my cousins in Gaza are Orthodox Christians. They are not belligerents, yet they and about two million Palestinians have endured a year and a half of relentless bombardment, physical and psychological trauma, and extreme food and water shortages. They are weak, tired, sick, injured, hungry, and thirsty. Many are elderly or young children. They have no control over the situation. Everyone knows multiple persons who have been killed. In my own family, several of my cousins were killed in October 2023 when an Israeli strike destroyed part of the church complex in which they were sheltering. Many were just beginning their lives. Please pray for all the innocents in this catastrophe—whether Jewish, Christian, Muslim, or otherwise—Israeli or Palestinian. Please pray that all parties involved, including the United States, choose peace and humanity instead of more destruction and death.
