I've been playing with OpenClaw a lot lately and it's pretty wild. I set mine up on a Mac Mini at my house, his name is Finch.
Currently, he does a lot of what most folks' openclaw bots do -- he checks my email, manages my calendar, monitors my projects, makes phone calls, and just generally handles stuff for me throughout the day without me asking.
I finally got his memory optimized so he actually remembers a lot of things from weeks ago and builds on them.
If you're into AI stuff at all would be cool to chat about it and we should follow each other. Anyone else tinkering, let's connect.

@petergyang I’m in the same boat. Have an MBP M1Pro and I’m anxiously awaiting the M5Pro. I’ll be getting the 14 for portability for sure. Are you planning on bumping up the default amount of memory it comes with for more AI tinkering or just sticking to the LLMs for now?

I saw this tweet from @gregisenberg and thought: "Wait, I'm 29 and I still use GoDaddy. What am I missing?" 😅 Even after reading the comments, I couldn't clearly understand why everyone hated it. So I asked my @openclaw bot Chiti: "Why did he say that?" It immediately gave me a breakdown that blew my mind. 1. Dark Patterns: Checkout is full of "Upsells" (Email, Privacy) that should be standard. 2. The Renewal Trap: Cheap year 1 ($1) → Expensive year 2 ($20+). 3. Legacy Tech: It’s seen as the "AOL" of domains. Then it gave me the Modern Stack alternatives: 1. Cloudflare (The Gold Standard) • Cost: Wholesale pricing (no markup). • Speed: World's fastest DNS. • Security: Free SSL & DDoS protection built-in. 2. Porkbun • Vibe: Fun, clean UI, cheap. The Execution: It didn't just explain. It advised me: "You are overpaying. Next time, use Cloudflare." And then it automatically added a task to my Notion backlog: - Migrate domains to Cloudflare. ‘Cabrini’ was incredible. It’s an inspirational story I had never heard of and John Lithgow is menacing in it. It’s sad that some of the same things are still happening with how some Americans view and treat immigrants today.
