Boomers didn’t buy RVs that they couldn’t afford, we tented it.
Boomers didn’t buy new cars, we bought used ones.
Boomers didn’t spend six bucks for a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
Boomers could hang all their clothes in a four foot closet.
Boomers didn’t cry how tough their lives were, we fought through the tough times.
Boomers have everything they have because they managed their money, didn’t squander it on frivolous things, and invested it in proven technologies and long term successful businesses.
Boomers have zero fucks to give for whiners, fools, and couch potatoes.

I like Marathon, but let’s be honest here. Edge of Fate (Destiny’s worst DLC) had more Day 1 players and a higher player count during Day 1 DP than Marathon’s had all its life. If Destiny ever got another DLC that was actually good it would have double Marathon’s high.
Byrd@Byrdman
Bungie needs to kill Destiny 2 already. Sick of the cope that it can come back when we just need D3. People saying nuke Marathon for D2 is like someone asking if you want your already digested food or something fresh. Actually delusional thinking anything else at this point.
English

@MathRockSucked This didnt happen in D2 lol. There was definitely sbmm but there wasnt much avoiding it because it was based on hidden mmr not actual rank.
English

Can we not beg for SBMM please? Last time we had this in Destiny it just meant good players would go out of their way to queue with a low-level account so they could fry in burger lobbies. Gamers today can't just lose gracefully.

Hi @Bungie @MarathonTheGame we have a question. How are you addressing the skill gap that will occur in Season 2 between new players and those that have been playing the game for all of Season 1? Many thanks.
English

I would hope Bungie is smart enough to limit loot acquisition in pve mode. It largely would be for contract completion by the sound of it. I wouldn't mind if players can stock up on consumables like meds, ammo, and other low level items. But non-purchasable weapons & mods > green should be off limits.
English

I don't think I've ever seen a game start to change its core identity faster lol
People can't even argue now if Bungie screwed up making an insanely hardcore PVP focused game because Bungie themselves are admitting they screwed up by shifting to PVE modes in Marathon after explicitly saying it wasn't that type of game.
I totally understand that there's people who genuinely enjoy Marathon's PVP and core loop, that's awesome for you. I appreciate that.
I'm referring more so that most of Bungie's entire dedicated fanbase is PVE oriented and were begging/telling Bungie for years with Marathon that it wouldn't appeal to them.
Bungie, of course, didn't listen
Now that the numbers are visible they're like "oh shit turns out people know what they like"
Man I wish I could burn hundreds of millions of dollars and years of development to learn something people told me before I started. Learnin' something that I already had the data to see.
I want the best for Bungie but man there's not enough people making decisions getting fired. You should hear how upset some of the developers internally are about leadership decisions. It's rough dude.
Homies/devs who follow me; sorry you've got brick wall bosses.

@DadsOfMarathon @Bungie @MarathonTheGame Not for Bungie to address. There will always be a skill gap in games the best games allow for skill expression. What Bungie should focus on imo is gear disparity. Raise the floor to get closer to players who are adequately geared.

Two people start using GHK-Cu on the exact same week.Same goal, same excitement, same belief that they’re about to improve their skin. A month passes… one person looks refreshed with smoother skin, a better glow, tighter skin, and an almost younger appearance.
The other suddenly looks older.
More wrinkles.
Less skin tightness.
The face almost looks stressed and drained.
So what happened?
And more importantly…
How do you make sure this never happens to you?
Most people use copper peptides because they want:
More collagen
Better skin quality
Faster healing
A youthful glow
Here’s the part nobody explains properly…
GHK-Cu is powerful, but people misunderstand how it actually works.
Most people think copper peptides only build collagen no they don’t.
They also increase processes involved in breaking old collagen down.
Think of it like renovating an old luxury mansion.
Before beautiful new walls can be built, workers first have to tear down the damaged ones.
That demolition phase is part of the process.
But if the demolition crew starts working faster than the rebuilding crew…
The house temporarily looks worse, not better.
And that’s exactly what can happen with skin.
This is what many people online call the “copper uglies.”
Collagen breakdown starts outpacing collagen repair.
And there’s another massive problem almost nobody talks about:
Copper and zinc must stay balanced.
When copper goes too high for too long, zinc levels can begin dropping.
And zinc is critical for:
skin repair
elasticity
inflammation control
collagen balance
overall skin quality
So when people overload copper while ignoring zinc…. The skin can absolutely suffer for this
Here’s how to avoid this mistake
1. Never overdo GHK-Cu
More is not better. Most problems happen when people push the dosage too aggressively instead of letting the body adapt gradually.
2. Avoid overstacking copper products
Using injectable GHK-Cu alongside copper serums, creams, and multiple copper-based products at the same time can overwhelm the system very quickly.
3. Support zinc properly
Copper without proper zinc balance can become a problem fast. Maintaining a healthy copper-to-zinc ratio is extremely important for skin quality and recovery.
4. Never take copper and zinc together
They compete for the same absorption pathways in the body. Keep them separated by at least several hours for better balance and absorption.
5. You can add some support detox and mineral balance like nac, milk thistle, vitamin c, alpha liposuction acid (ALA) to help the body process excess copper more efficiently.
Now if you already think you’re experiencing “copper uglies” you don’t have to panic.
Most people recover just fine when they:
1.stop copper temporarily
2. support zinc moderately
3.focus on recovery support and give the body time to rebalance
For many people, skin quality improves again within a few weeks.
The truth is this usually isn’t random damage It’s imbalance, overuse and poor dosing.
When used intelligently, GHK-Cu can be incredible for skin quality and recovery but balance matters a lot.
If you learned something from this post, help spread the knowledge.
Retweet, repost, or share it so more people can educate themselves before jumping into copper peptides blindly.

Creators, no matter what size your community is you should have more tools to keep yourself safe out there. With the launch of Season 2 we'll be doing some work to better help you protect yourself from would-be ne'er-do-wells - including:
➡️ The ability to hide you and your Crew’s names on your screen.
➡️The ability to replace your in-run name with a generic one across places like pings, kill feed, death recap, and spectate.
➡️The ability to replace other players’ names on your screen with generic names.
➡️A configurable matchmaking delay to help make stream sniping harder.
And of course, the above will be available to all players.
We always want to do everything we can to ensure a fair and safe gameplay experience in Marathon. Keep the feedback coming!

@HardwareSteam Shipping says it'll be delivered tomorrow.

@MarathonGG_ Some people just want validation for their decisions. Choosing not to buy the game and invest your time is a decision. Tons of people want to feel validated for their choice to abstain. Don't entertain them.

You can breathe a bit easier Runners.
Sony’s CFO Lin Tao confirmed Marathon will continue to be supported!
Here is what they said in full -
“In our studio business, earnings from Bungie's title portfolio did not reach our expectations, so we downwardly revised our business plan and impaired the full amount of the fixed assets related to Bungie except for goodwill.
Player reception to Marathon is strong, with the game receiving a Metacritic score of 82 and more than 90% of the player reviews on Steam being positive. Engagement metrics such as retention also remain at a high level.
Going forward, we aim to improve the performance of the game by working to retain highly engaged core users through the introduction of additional content, further improvements in the gameplay experience and expansion of the user base.”

Cosmic Armor Superman (Thought Robot) adapts to *any* threat instantly at a conceptual/meta-narrative level—he literally exists to protect the story from being erased. Xeno's instant existence erasure is strong hax, but CAS has countered similar reality-warping and plot-level dangers before without needing "time."
I'd say no, Xeno doesn't just poof him. CAS wins via adaptation. Debatable as always in these cross-verse fights though.
