Am I the only one feeling Claude free limits got way too strict now? Like 2-3 proper messages and boom… wait for hours!!

Vibe coding is actively degrading your engineering baseline. If your entire workflow is just reading AI-generated outputs, you eventually lose the ability to tell what good code even is. If you can't write the small logic, you can't review the massive systems.

@wesbos Or they are trying to keep the AI bubble from popping and loosing billions in their company value.

if a CEO of a company is posting an absolute statement about ai and the future, they are ramping up to launch a feature that does exactly that next week

@thenowhereway Tech debt hits hard after the vibe coded project grows and you dont understand it. We need to think about different approach to all of this.

Nobody talks about the real cost of vibe coding. You ship 3x faster. But you understand 50% less of your codebase. In 6 months, you'll rewrite everything. That's the hidden tax.

@Govindtwtt Some research is alread showing this. We might get to a point where we wont be able to tell bad code from good because of all of the AI usage.

Unpopular opinion. Excessive use of AI will make you dumb. Very dumb.

literally anyone can ship quickly if they sacrifice reliability. it’s not in any way impressive.

@theo A lot of people are posting predictions like they are facts and almost all of them dont have any domain expertise at all. Its just a way to gain some popularity.

I’m so thankful my job isn’t to predict the future. Things change so fast right now. Anyone telling you where things will be in 6 months is probably wrong and definitely trying to sell you something.

@svpino Most of those people are hit with a reality check when they cant solve the issues with AI because of the unmaintanable code the AI has generated. Its all rainbows until you hit the wall.

Last year, I met a person who has never written a single line of code in his life, yet he feels he can build anything he wants. He told me point-blank: "I challenge you to tell me something I can't build using AI." I tried to explain, but I couldn't find the right words. The most fascinating aspect of vibe-coding is how it has convinced so many people to believe they are better and more capable than they really are.

@trikcode A lot of vibe coders were triggered by your post 😃. Most of the vibe coded apps will be crash when used by first users as it takes a lot of knowledge to steer AI into the right direction and cover a lot of edge cases.

The vibe coding crash is coming. Thousands of apps built by people who can't explain a single line of their own codebase.

I didn't know these claude code pro limits can be so small. I used for 1 hour and there is already a limit. Looks like this thing is made to sell tokens

Amazon lost 6.3 million orders in one day after an AI agent hallucinated. Vibe coded apps run by X gurus who don't even know what code is will run fine though.

If you don't treat Git as a strict save point, you’ll spend more time undoing AI "fixes" than you saved using it. Long Cursor chats = Context Rot. To prevent it: Kill the chat often to clear the model's memory, and commit religiously after every single successful prompt.

@haha_girrrl X bubble is so bad. You get a feeling you are behind so much but if you think about it, its mostly just fluff. Most of those people havent shipped anything useful or have 0 users but are posting on X like they made millions.

@icanvardar Most people are too lazy to even try to google a solution to their problems and we expect them to create an app for themselves…

people are lazy. 99.99% won’t build their own projects, they just install it from the app store

@johncrickett If they are so close to the AGI why are they trying to make the current LLMs more profitable by introducing ads in the chats? Something doesnt make sense.

But: “A lot of people use it for a couple of months and it kind of dies away. Now, the odds of 100,000 of those agents building Nvidia is zero percent.” So which is it? My take: LLMs (and all of AI) are great tools, we're far from AGI.
