@phantom What is hilarious is that this meme ($director) behind this post drifts quietly at only 0.5m mc on phantom/jupiter despite being viciously viral on the entire x feed in last days. How is this not at least at 10 milly mc?!!? Crypto winter really f—ed everyone’s hope I guess..

@GiaMMacool 1. Internet revolution ie. social media/dating apps -> options pool is ad infinitum 2. Feminism -> total obliteration of gender roles 3. Capitalism endgame -> insanely low income in relation to home prices/living costs 4. Legal system is broken -> men are martyred in court.

Eh. Past a certain attractiveness threshold that's not really true. The options are essentially infinite. Especially with no kids baggage. What's making her options less is only her own standards, which just get retardedly high and shorn of mitigating sentiment as women get older, without her appeal rising in tandem. For girlboss mids this is often fatally femcel. For hots much less so. She's the one tanking her own ship. She mostly won't want anyone younger than her. She'll want a guy on par or older than her with a lot of money that is also hot. If she chose only money or only hot it would be easy. Hot and rich and "alpha" and good and accomodating of her own quirks has a lot going on that is somewhat contradictory. As hot as she may be, she becomes a harder sell to those types as they have ready access to the infinipussy and even having a normal wife or gf at all who puts any fetters on them is a compromise and low key L. For those types to go for it they'll need validation and love. Hotness alone might not be proper social validation if she's also a mess and untrustworthy. If she's a trifling shallow bitch love will be hard to come by. Earlier in life people make dating decisions more heavily vibes and emotions based. This causes its own problems, but is certainly a less exacting standard than the shrewd arbitrage of middle age ego salve avarice. Otherwise you are left with settling from exhaustion.

She's obviously attractive in a conventional sense, but you have to look at the subtler signs. She has low trust predator cat eyes in a cakeup makeup face, and is very preoccupied with exterior beauty, arrogant and vain presenting, with a dollop of ditz energy. Schizo scrambled for tiwtter egirl presentation, sure. A mildly redeeming quality. Upper echelon guys are her natural league but the thing is, they have enough choice that they can afford to discern on personality traits and intangibles because they'll have enough 8 - 10 women to choose from to do that. A living barbie doll that seems full of herself and kind of loopy might come off wrong to that strata. Especially if they can have her without commitment anyway. The guys kind of smell it and keep her simmering on roster distance. She's probably attracted to very aloof types too that are challenges themselves, with maybe an over emphasis on superficial traits, while trying to ask for too many exceptionalities in one individual. A pastiche of the best of all the other guys she's had. But if they were lacking in whatever traits, there's likely a reason. Maybe they were outliers in one or two dimensions, with defecits in others. This a lot more common than these rare superhuman triangulations of everything perfect at once. And on top of that, you have intangibles and emotions to worry about. Maybe the guy on paper you're supposed to like you just don't. Especially if you're well ran through. I think women are much more likely to try and force this last point, and that's how they end up strung along by men that don't even like them. They might actually feel similarly on a deeper level. I see older women constantly wrestling with this tepid ambivalence trying to shove square pegs into round holes. Many do it their entire lives. Sheer opportunism and ego avarice wins their attentions. But in the end, this is unstable on both sides. It falls apart more often than not. Mere arbitrage is not enough with infinity options and no rules. Believe it or not, while just being hot alone will net you excess options, it's not really enough to result in having stable relationships necessarily, even if desired. There's plenty of mid women married to billionaires. Zuck's wife is famously haggard. That's some San Fransisco technerd bullshit, but the concept applies in other domains too.

No one believes that a woman that looks like this hasn’t met numerous amounts of the ‘right guy’. You’re just ultra picky.

@jess_ann_pin @MurrayHillGuy1 Dear Jessica dating doesn’t start with respect, dating starts with attraction! Younger women -> higher attraction. Older women -> lower attraction. It is that simple. The rules of nature! If you’d be less ignorant maybe you would have found somebody by now, alas..

Your bite produces around 200 pounds of force. A T. rex bit down with 12,800 pounds, sixty-four times harder than a human jaw. Three small cars stacked on its mouth, with each tooth tip pressing at 431,000 pounds per square inch. The strongest land-animal bite that has ever existed. The teeth were the engineering. T. rex carried 50 to 60 of them, shaped like bananas, up to 12 inches long with the root, edges serrated like steak knives. Most reptile teeth tear flesh but can't crush bone. T. rex teeth crushed bone. Paleontologists call it "extreme osteophagy", a fancy term for biting so deep into a skeleton that you grind it into powder and swallow it. Hyenas cannot break open elephant bones. T. rex did it for breakfast. The eyes were the size of grapefruits, 13 centimeters across. The skull was wide at the back and narrow at the snout, so both eyes could see the same patch of ground at once. That gave it 55 degrees of overlap and crisp 3D vision, wider than a hawk's. Kent Stevens at the University of Oregon ran the math: T. rex saw 13 times more clearly than a human can. An eagle only sees 3.6 times more clearly than us. T. rex could pick out a clear shape four miles away. Your eyes give up around a mile. The "stand still and the T. rex won't see you" line from Jurassic Park got the biology backwards. Speed was the weak link. Modern simulations put a full-grown T. rex's top running speed between 12 and 23 miles per hour. A reasonably fit person jogs at 8. The famous Jurassic Park scene with the T. rex chasing a speeding Jeep was wishful thinking. What it did instead was crush. A 2013 paper described a duck-billed dinosaur's tail bone with a T. rex tooth still embedded inside, surrounded by healed-over bone tissue. The duck-bill escaped and lived. The bone literally grew back around the tooth. T. rex actively attacked living prey, and sometimes lost the bite. A 2010 study at Yale found adult T. rex bones bearing tooth marks made by other adult T. rex. They ate each other. Adults reached around 40 feet long and 7 to 8 tons. A 2024 computer model suggests some individuals could have weighed up to 70% more than older estimates. A 2021 calculation in the journal Science put the total T. rex population that ever lived at 2.5 billion across 2.5 million years, with roughly 20,000 adults alive at any one moment. Juveniles were a different animal entirely. They were slender and fast, built for chasing prey rather than crushing it. The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Canada found a young Gorgosaurus, a close T. rex cousin, preserved with the dismembered legs of two baby dinosaurs in its stomach. Teen tyrannosaurs hunted small prey. Adults moved up to herbivores like Triceratops, and occasionally to each other. A 2024 paper walked back an earlier claim that T. rex had baboon-level intelligence. The current consensus is closer to "smart giant crocodile". Modern crocodiles drag full-grown wildebeest into rivers and hold them underwater until they drown. The skull on that cake is a real shape. The animal it came from was the most effective bone-crusher that has ever evolved on land.

I’d rather be wrong shorting from 75K–80K than be wrong longing from 123K down to 60K. It’s a quiet truth about the game. You can be right ten times in a row, trade impeccably for a year straight, and still find that people remember only the one time you wrong. Unlike so many here, I keep both my wins and my losses fully public. I don’t hide when I’m wrong, even though roughly 95% of this space seems to do exactly that. Yes, I am still short but it’s not looking good.

"so you staked your ETH on the Ethereum blockchain to earn yield?" "yes, Dave" "except you didn't want your capital to be locked up so you actually staked it with a liquid staking protocol called Lido?" "that's correct, Dave" "and Lido gave you a liquid staking receipt token called stETH in return?" "yes, Dave" "and then you didn't think that was enough, so you juiced the yield even further by depositing your stETH receipt tokens into a restaking protocol called Eigenlayer?" "you are correct, Dave" "and now you didn't want to lock up your capital, so you actually restaked with a liquid restaking protocol called KelpDAO who provided you with a liquid restaking receipt token called rsETH?" "you got it, Dave" "and then that was surely not enough juice, so you then deposited your rsETH tokens into a lending protocol called AAVE so that you could open a leveraged looping position that borrows ETH against the rsETH collateral and restakes the ETH into rsETH which is then deposited as collateral, except it turns out rsETH used a cross-chain bridge called LayerZero whose security is held together by a 1/1 toothpick, which was obviously hacked by north koreans causing rsETH to become undercollateralized and now these looping positions are stuck and unprofitable, and everyone is pointing fingers at each other, and also DeFi is a very serious industry" "you are 100% correct, dave" jfc.
