The highest priority project for Mumbai Metro has to be connecting Gundavali to CSMIA T2. This small link will connect South Mumbai to suburbs beyond Vile Parle with a single change of line. This will go a long way in decongesting WEH.

I think this is a waste of resources in India We have a lot of vandals who will just do vandalism or just break it Rather than doing this a retractable wire for USB C which will be more economical and vandalism proof

@iMarathiMulgi @richapintoi the problem with AC buses is that when they get packed it becomes suffocating and most AC buses are long routes. so i would prefer non-Ac ones.

Shot this today afternoon (non peak hour) & saw many standing. The demand for BEST buses will always remain in Mumbai. We need more of these to run on our roads. People must feel encouraged to use them as they ensure last mile connectivity to many areas.

my instagram (@ korn) was stolen overnight via the Meta AI exploit and was subsequently disabled. it was Meta Verified, facial scan verified, and had 0 TOS violations. the account is the sole source of my income. i spent 6 hours trying to get human support and meta's support AI gave me 4 broken links in a row. we're at the point where one AI stole it and another can't fix it, zero humans in the loop anywhere. does anyone know how to get in contact with meta support about this? it is absolutely ridiculous that a trillion dollar company allows an exploit like this and doesn't even address it. @instagram @AIatMeta @DarkWebInformer

What Maharashtra state board does yesterday, other boards follow tomorrow We had 2 languages ( English, Marathi) till 4th std 3 languages being E,M and Hindi from 5th to 7th std From 8th-10th we had option for Sanskrit, Hindi, German, etc apart from English and Marathi

@I_am_Vedvrat this is only for bike services. though I am for bike services, for many of these riders you are like a parcel to be delivered. driving is rash and unsafe. so this feels correct. also anyone can register and become an operator so I feel some regulations are needed.

If the govt of Maharashtra really wants to ban Ola, Uber, Rapido and other operators, it should guarantee the following: 1. Guaranteed rides no matter the location. People go for these cabs coz rockshawalla and taxis never want to go to the location you request and demand higher price coz "return bhada nahi milat." 2. Rickshaws and cabs will be within 500m distance from any location. If you've to walk more than a km to reach the nearest stand without any guarantee of getting a ride, it is just stupidity. 3. Meter-based pricing only with govt doing checks regularly to ensure meters aren't tampered with. 4. Safety for women and elderly citizens since these app-based cabs allow you to track the route in real-time. No such thing for normal ricks or taxis. If govt cannot guarantee these, I don't think they have any right to pass such blanket judgements on apps that are only helping the common man travel easily in a crowded country like ours.

@manasi87 @ChitnisPurva don't you think that killing BEST and MSRTC is a systematic plan? how come there is no plan to replace buses as we already know 15 years lifespan. how come no new feeder routes are being planned for all these metros? also why do we have to jump on electric buses. are cng so bad?

Mumbai’s buses were the second most important mode of public transport. Now, the BEST is left with just a couple of hundred buses of its own. There is a plan of adding more electric buses, but there’s hardly any budget for it. Important story by @ChitnisPurva

I brought my website jenkov.com back from the dead - even though most of the articles are getting old ! 😊 In these days, how many of you are still reading tutorials instead of just asking the AI ?!? I still do both. Books and tutorials for overview. AI for the details I need here and now.
