🔹Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mrs. Ashwini Bhide conducted a surprise inspection early this morning in the western suburbs, covering administrative wards H-East, H-West, K-East, K-West, and K-South. During the visit, she reviewed sanitation workers' chowkies, general cleanliness, the Western Express Highway, premises maintenance, parking lots, gardens and ongoing road works. 🔹Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ashwini Bhide directed that priority must be given to keeping the city clean by paying extensive attention to the cleanliness of Mumbai's roads, their surrounding areas, and junctions. 🔹Mrs. Bhide instructed that every administrative ward of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, as well as other authorities, should enhance mutual coordination to keep Mumbai clean and beautiful. She also directed that available modern machinery and manpower must be utilized effectively. 🔹She conducted inspections at various locations, including the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department’s Dharmashala Chowki in Bandra (West), ongoing road cleaning in front of the Government Polytechnic (Kherwadi, Bandra West), the Western Express Highway, the Church Road Marol Section road chowki, the parking lot on Guru Gobind Singhji Marg in Andheri (East), the J.B. Road Metro Station chowki, and the Savitribai Phule Garden at Church Road, Marol, Andheri (East). 🔹On the occasion of World Earth Day, Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Ashwini Bhide planted a Frangipani (Champa) tree at the Savitribai Phule Garden. 🔹Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Commissioner's Office) Shri. Prashant Gaikwad, Deputy Commissioner (Solid Waste Management) Shri. Kiran Dighavkar, Deputy Commissioner (Zone 3) Shri. Vishwas Mote, Assistant Commissioner Mrs. Mrudula Ande, Assistant Commissioner Shri. Dinesh Pallewad, Assistant Commissioner Shri. There is some improvement in the amount of garbage on the road. But no action yet on encroachment on Road 11 MIDC Andheri East footpath. No space for citizens to walk to reach @MumbaiMetro3 Need swift @mybmcWardKE action like other parts of Mumbai @AshwiniBhide @CMOMaharashtra

@havellsindia Can you get some one to fix my fan - job ID 16022648450088. I am patiently waiting for 15 days and no one has bothered to replace the burnt out motor. Havells fans seem to be of the worst quality and on top of that no customer service is provided. Please this back.

Do not buy @havellsindia fans. The motor got burnt within 6 months and have been waiting since 16th Feb for them to fix it. Horrible product quality and worst customer service ever.

@mybmcWardKE No action has been taken till now. There is no space to walk on road for school children, office employees and residents. @TawdeRitu @mybmc- Ma'am please take necessary action. Thousands of BMC tax payers are suffering in MIDC Road 11, Andheri East.

Attaching pictures of when the footpath was cleaned 1.5 years ago. This needs to be done again.

@mybmcWardKE The foothpath on Road 11 MIDC is full of garbage or encroached. There is no way to reach Metro safely for pedestrians and RC Maruti school children. Last action was taken in July'24. Since then residents have been suffering. Please take action @CMOMaharashtra @mybmc

Don't buy anything on @KurlOnOfficial website. The order can't be tracked and their ecommerce team is not of much help either. Pathetic experience.

@iitbombay Given the chaos caused yesterday for daily commuters, this is a wise decision. Do look into the fact that brand IIT takes a serious hit with such mismanagement. While IIT works with BMC on upcoming infra projects, improving crumbling #JVLR is what you should actually prioritize.

All pre-registrations for Mood Indigo events at IIT Bombay are cancelled and entry for any outsider (except the competition participants and IIT Bombay residents) is stopped for today and tomorrow.
