@JeanGardenLuv @WallStreetApes @HP I had a similar experience. I've been using a Canon and it's better in every way. I can even "see" it on my network with any device. I'm much happier and don't miss the HP one iota.

American bought a brand new printer. She bought the ink for the printer, she bought the paper for the printer, now she’s at home and is ready to print She can’t print “They remotely shut off my printer until I paid $7.50 cents to print in my own home, to print on my printer, that I own in my home” This is the new $7.50 subscription plan by HP Printers Here’s how the plans work HP’s Instant Ink and newer All-in Plan programs are subscription services options: - You pay a monthly fee based on pages printed (not ink used). - Plans start low, from $1.79–$7.99 per month for 10–100 pages - $7–$8 per month plans are for around 100 pages If your payment fails. HP will remotely shutoff your printer

@WallStreetApes I got an @HP and they wanted an ink subscription. I said no and dumped the app off my phone. Printer refused to print. I put it in a trash bag and out by the curb that week. I will never buy ANY HP product again.

@WallStreetApes Happened to me too. And they wouldn't refund me the months I printed nothing because their piece of crap didn't work. I challenged the charge, won it, and threw the printer in the trash. @Canon all the way.

A “Daily Wire” host visits the musical to roast the Book of Mormon, And a day later a daily wire roasts the Book of Mormon (the play, that is) God really does have a sense of humor.

“The Book of Mormon,” one of Broadway’s biggest juggernauts, will be forced to close for an unknown period of time after an electrical fire on Monday caused significant damage to the building where the musical has been running for the last 15 years. nyti.ms/4wakglR

@alanliddell_ Our daughter married a wonderful Catholic boy. He is the best of Men. She was taught the Gospel well. She now practices Catholicism along with him (even baptised their boy by the priest), but I feel confident they all will recognize the Savior when He comes to claim His people.

Wow, this one blew up. Thanks for all your support! and not too many negative comments. I started going to church 3 years ago, was baptized that summer. I later baptized my wife and my oldest son. It's been an incomparable blessing. Temple worthiness has been a long journey,

@Bless_ThisMess7 Yes!! Give them time and space. They will come around. The initial shock to you with his letter was a shot off his compulsive bow. Time and space make a big difference, especially if you don't react. Just let it simmer. They will come ...

I'm apprehensive posting this because my anxiety is at it's highest height. I don't know if it was everyone's prayers or fasting or temple prayer roll, but something may have changed. I had signed up 3 of my children for FSY this year, my son was one of them. Sunday, right after I ended my fast, my daughter came in and said, "M said he is considering still going to FSY and wants to know the dates." DON'T WORRY NAYSAYERS I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT PRESSURE HIM IN ANYWAY. He has his complete agency and I love him and want more than anything for him to make his own choices. Also, yesterday my daughter told her brother that we were celebrating Cinco De Mayo as usual (my stepmom is Hispanic). I'm making one of his favorite meals, pork tacos. He asked her to ask us if he can come over for dinner. I'm not getting my hopes up so if he says nevermind, I won't be a complete mess all over again. Once again I'm asking for prayers specifically for our family to heal and to protect and uplift my son in what he's going through. *Anyone with negative comments will be blocked. I have zero tolerance for bigotry and toxicity. #LDSX #SaintsOnX

Guys I really need prayers 🥺. Yesterday, my son turned 18. I went to wish him Happy Birthday only to find his things gone & a 5 pg letter telling me he hates me & he's leaving the church. This came out of nowhere. He's been lying to everyone for over a year. I'm shattered. #LDSX

For a change of pace… The church my family has been attending for the past couple years isn’t something I’m happy with. The pastor has fully embraced “prosperity preaching” and spends entire sermons clubbing you over the head to tithe. I seriously feel like he’s a bad month away from his own “lock the doors” moment. His wife, the “co-pastor,” literally turned her back on me when I was going through a rough period, both personally and professionally. Honestly, growing up, I never had a good church relationship. There was a LOT of bad disguised as good. The older I get, the more I realize how toxic that environment was. For my little girl, I want her to grow up in faith. I want her to be a true believer in the Word. I want her to enjoy Christ and a relationship with Him. I only hope we can find a really good church in Florida that can nurture all of it. Y’all pray for my family and I, please.

I don’t think we talk enough about how much good writing there is on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Not just books that explain doctrine, but books that make you stop, sit there for a second, and realize how much the Savior has actually done for us. A few that have stayed with me 🧵

A testimony from tonight: My 7-yo has an irritated eye. Won’t know if it’s pinkeye until the morning (if it was just in an early stage at school), but most likely is not (it hasn’t gotten any worse since school). But I went and got some eye drops… …proceed the nightmare. My 7-yo does not do well with eye drops. He’s a brave kid, but eye drops? No way! And I was getting quite frustrated that he wouldn’t just trust my wife and me that it doesn’t hurt and will help, and was so frustrated I was about to ground him from video games or find some other way to try to leverage at least a single drop in. My wife asked if he wanted to say a prayer to help him be brave, and suddenly I was overcome with the thought that I was doing it the wrong way. I asked my 7-yo if he wanted a father’s blessing instead. I said it wouldn’t be a blessing for the sick because we’d need another person, but that I can at least help calm his mind and help him find courage to be brave. I gave him a blessing about how our Heavenly Father sent us here to learn by experience, and to learn that with Him we can face and overcome all our fears. After the blessing, I asked him if he wanted to be brave now and just let the cold drops soak right into his eyeball, and he immediately found the courage to let my wife put the drops in. And he just soaked them in. No fear. And he discovered that we were truthful, and the drops didn’t hurt. And he started laughing. This led into a pretty good discussion where he was soaking in every word. I pointed out that I didn’t make him brave, but that God did. He said maybe he just finally became brave enough. I told him it’s not so, and that we are literally nothing without Him. I told him of an experience I once had in deep prayer where I asked God if He would show me what it would be like without Him, and almost immediately I became so heavy I couldn’t move a muscle. Couldn’t even bat an eye. Fortunately, I could still breathe. But pain began to gradually increase across my entire frame. And for a brief moment, fear overcame me and I thought I just made a horrible mistake, and foolishly asked for something I shouldn’t. But as soon as I had that fear manifest, my strength came back, and now I know for myself how nothing we are without God. Then he asked if he should go do that too… My wife quickly said “No!” And I was right behind her. Lol. But I used that as an opportunity to teach him the importance of testimonies, and how if he is smart, he will accept the testimonies of those he trusts in cases like this so that he doesn’t need to experience it himself — but that when he’s a little older, if he wants to try it, he should. And that he will have all of his own unique experiences that one day he will get to testify of to his children! Needless to say, what began as a somewhat contentious night ended in one of the most spiritual experiences I’ve had with my 7-yo (and that’s saying a lot, because we have amazing spiritual experiences often). And he keeps coming into our room to tell us how much he loves Jesus and is so thankful that He helped him. This kid will be so much greater than me. And it makes me so proud that I can leave something better than me behind. D&C 121:41-42: “No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned…”

I was sitting at a table next to 3 old ladies at dinner and they were talking about the recent Trump assassination attempt. They said things like, “I can’t believe it was another person who couldn’t hit his target.” “They need assassins with better aim.” And “Hopefully they get him next time!” I don’t care what political party you support, if you act like this I stand against you. How is something so evil, so casually talked about and laughed about in America…
