Nila Patel, a mother of two, saw the accident and got off the bus to help. Ahanonu grabbed her from behind, punched her in the face so she fell to the floor and then continued to stamp on her and kick her, leaving her with brain damage. She died two days later. This man should never have been on the streets. In June 2023 he was given a suspended sentence after being found guilty of supplying drugs. His car was stopped in September 2023 and he was found to have drugs and a machete in his car. He was jailed for 24 months but was let out after less than a year. When he was interviewed by the police he is seen laughing about the event. He has led an appalling life, claiming Universal Credit while running a drugs operation that brought him £10k per month. He has been found guilty of murder and sentenced to 21.5 years. Let’s see how long he actually serves.
