Yeah, let’s punish the successful ones and redistribute their wealth so that the parasites who are doing nothing to improve their lives can continue to leech and bring others down to their level. Why work if you can suck other people’s wealth right? Spoken like a true working class dickhead.

@Cosmalano @postquantum Also, all future students get a chance to talk to us past students to understand what the reality of working on the theory is, beyond anything that can be found on social medias.

@Cosmalano @postquantum @Cosmalano You are writing without knowing what you are talking about. No-one is shackled to do anything. Jonathan leaves students free to explore topics and different research directions to his students. I worked on Postquantum, strings and quantum foundations with no problems

Please share to spread the word: There is an opportunity for a PhD studentship on the postquantum theory of gravity, or experiments probing the quantum nature of spacetime. Deadline for UK students is Jan 31, while internationals should email today. See ucl.ac.uk/oppenheim/item…

NEW: @NYCMayor tells me why he felt the need to greet Luigi Mangione in Manhattan today. “I’m not going to just allow him into the city. I wanted to look him in the eye and say you carried out this terroristic act in my city, the city that the people of New York love.”

@DarkStuffR @postquantum We match the results obtained by Mannheim and collaborators, who have compared their gravitational potential to a wide array of galaxies. However, differently from them, we do not need to use a theory of conformal gravity, but we obtain the results from stochasticity.

Folks, something seems to be happening... We show that our theory of gravity is valid down to the shortest distances arxiv.org/abs/2402.17844. and that it can explain the expansion of the universe and galactic rotation without dark matter or dark energy arxiv.org/abs/2402.19459 1/

@postquantum Does your approach assume that the flow of time is stochastic at every point, independent from every other point?

We calculate the weak field limit of our post-quantum theory of classical gravity. We find the quantum state moves in lock-step with spacetime. It remains pure even though predictability breaks down and the "rate" of the flow of time becomes stochastic. scirate.com/arxiv/2307.025…

1/5 Quantum gravity has kept theoretical physicists busy for the past 60 years, but why? The Feynman argument suggests that without quantised gravity, we lose quantum properties. Essentially, classical spacetime would measure and quickly decohere quantum states. #QuantumGravity

4/5 Fear not! Our group, led by @postquantum, has found a way to consistently couple classical gravity & quantum matter. Our new paper investigates the consequences of this in weak gravitational regimes. #QuantumGravity #PhysicsResearch
