@RealMamaEagle If Dallas had the sports media ecosystem that Philly does, maybe their fans wouldn't be so delusional but we all know they wouldn't be able to handle the constant scrutiny and the subsequent meltdowns would be too much for them to bear

Nothing I can’t stand in sports more than a frontrunning fan. Loud when the team is winning or player has a great game, and quiet when the team is losing or the player has a poor stretch. Own your fandom all of the time, not just when it’s convenient.

@dawest76 Except he didn't win. Poor play eventually caught up with him and his team got torched in the biggest game because of it

I saw Drake Maye complete less than 60% of passes with 6 td's, 4 ints, and fumble 7 times in the playoffs and his team still go to the Super Bowl. He pissed, shit, and threw up all down his leg in the playoffs and his team still won. Hence why football is a TEAM SPORT!!!!

I'm cool with admitting Dak played bad in the playoffs a couple times soon as people admit #qbwinz in the playoffs aren't real. Common ground. An olive branch so to speak. Blake Bortles was a Tom Brady whistle from a sb. Sam Darnold just won a sb. Like just be honest.
Cowboys Due Diligence@StevieJETX

We can admit Dak played bad vs. GB. We can admit he played bad vs. SF. The issue is that’s where some folks want the convo to end. They claim if you point out other things in the game you’re making excuses for Dak, even if we already admit when he didn’t play well

@sparks_1606 @vinfosh Doesn’t matter! Joining a 4th team that is favored to win without him would make it even worse if he joins

I think people struggle with the QB wins debate because they confuse the end result with the process. A win is the outcome of an entire team’s performance. A quarterback certainly influences that outcome, sometimes more than anyone else, but he doesn’t solely produce it. If you want to evaluate a quarterback, you should measure the things he actually controls: his decision-making, accuracy, processing, pocket movement, ability to create, pre-snap adjustments, situational performance, and overall efficiency. Those are the process. Wins are simply what happen after the process is filtered through coaching, play calling, pass protection, receivers, running game, defense, special teams, and even luck. Wins tell you what happened. They don’t tell you why it happened.

This tweet will end the Jalen Hurts conversation for good. THIS IS WHAT EAGLES FANS WANT. They want to know why Dak is regarded so much more highly than Jalen. This is what they see. They is what they see. This is what they vote on. Let’s take a look at them running the same play against the same coverage and the massive gap between them will show right up because the film doesn’t lie. They’re both running a scissors concept vs single-hi. As the both WRs are coming to cross essentially the middle safety is forced to choose one and the QB is throwing to the other. Conditions: -2nd quarter of 10-3 ball game up. -The throw for Hurts is declared early Goedert is visually open before the logo -Hurts has a perfect pocket -Perfect vision Result: -as usual his poor processing becomes a factor and it takes him too long to come off the right crosser is by the time he comes back to Goedert the CB has completely caught up and will undercut the route if he throws it. The sideline is squeezing him and now he’s forced to throw the ball awkwardly upfield which is a more difficult throw and it’s inaccurate.

There are loud soccer crowds... and then there are Mexico soccer crowds. Fans inside Mexico's legendary Estadio Azteca in Mexico City erupted so loudly that they reportedly triggered an earthquake. The ground movement caused by the celebration was strong enough to be picked up by seismic monitoring equipment as an "artificial seismic signal," according to the New York Post. The celebration came when Julián Quiñones buried the opening goal in the 22nd minute, sending tens of thousands of fans into a frenzy that literally shook the ground. Raúl Jiménez added a second goal minutes later to seal the victory.
