@andy_austin_dev @TimSweeneyEpic I used Dreamweaver’s WYSIWYG features to make websites before I could code. We all have to start somewhere and AI is so much more powerful than WYSIWYG editors.

🚨𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen unveiled EU–INC, a new framework that lets you launch a company in 48 hours for under €100 Starting a company across the EU today = 27 legal systems, 60+ company structures 🤯 That might be about to change… The European Commission just introduced 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗰., a new optional corporate framework designed to make Europe actually function like one market. Here’s what stands out: → Set up a company in 48 hours → Cost: < €100 → Fully online, no minimum capital → One single framework across all EU countries → Easier share transfers & fundraising → EU-wide employee stock options (huge for talent) Especially the EU-wide stock option plans, taxed only when employees actually sell (instead of when granted) is huge. This makes it far easier for startups to attract and retain top talent, finally putting Europe closer to the US playbook. Source/More info: ec.europa.eu/commission/pre… In short: This is Europe trying to compete with the simplicity of a Delaware C-Corp 🇺🇸 And honestly… it’s long overdue. For years, European founders had 2 choices: 1. Stay local and deal with fragmentation 2. Move to the US to scale 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗰. is trying to remove that trade-off. If executed well, this could be one of the most important structural changes for European startups in decades. What do you think?

the payout cofounder @CapitalCasper in charge of distribution said he's working on another app and only giving 15% for the tech cofounder the good creators are now aware of what they bring to the table + how easy it is to vibe code a mobile app tbh casper is very bright and has the correct thinking a technical cofounder make the app mvp in a few days then what? running the a/b tests, analytics, paid ads etc but compared to an influencer handling the distribution... the daily workload is much lower for the tech co-founder probably the new meta for a tech guy who doesn't like marketing is to work on multiple apps and for each working with a big influencer youtube.com/watch?v=I10xtU…

@maks6361 This is accurate. I recently was hit with this. You must state in the description it requires an active subscription to use the app if there is a hard paywall

As far as I know, if you implement a hard paywall, you need to explicitly state in the App Store description that your features are available only for premium users. If you have a soft paywall, then you don’t need to add anything special. So if you had a soft paywall during review and then switched to a hard one later, it’s immediately a violation of the App Store rules. After that, it’s only a matter of time before they find out.
Anum @anumness

So switching from soft to hard paywall after review is against Apples Policy? I find it hard to believe that. But if there is evidence that its true Id love to know.

Are you an RC customer and want your app icon featured on our signup page? We're building an app icon wall ala WWDC 2009(?) and looking for volunteers. Reply with your app link and you hereby officially consent to me putting in on our website (this is legally official)

@sergeynazarovx Yeah no..if that were true people wouldn’t be leaving in droves to run their startup and companies outside Europe.. plus it’s no longer the Europe it used to be.

never really understand people who seriously think Europe is the worst place to build a startup i won’t say it’s the best place, but it’s not not even close to the worst european citizens have access to the most innovative product and services. they usually don’t get it in the first wave after release, but still. europeans can easily work on the international stage yes, there are many regulations and taxes are high, but believe me half of the world population would be glad to live in the conditions europeans have otherwise, european countries would not have been able to attract so many immigrants. i know there is trend on shitting on Europe. but there is no perfect place on Earth. so, just continue building the thing
Fraser@iamfra5er

Name a worse place to build a startup than this area I highly doubt you can

This is a requirement by Apple to submit your app btw, AI did it for me in 10 minutes For my first app this took me 3 hours just 9 months ago Apple demands an external link to both your privacy policy and terms of service Very simple focused more on distribution will improve

If you're in the apps business, I've got a question for you. What do you think is the NUMBER ONE reason users churn? (across ALL categories) ......... I'll give you some credit if you said price, UI/UX or annoying ads - but you're still wrong. The true answer is waaaay more interesting.... = Usage. But hold on. What does 'Usage' actually mean? Usage defines whether your app has given the user ENOUGH of a reason to come back, again and again. Have you created a daily habit? Have you built an effective notification system to prompt users to come back? Is your app just a one time novelty, or does it provide on-going value? According to @RevenueCat 's data, churn is mostly a habit problem, not a pricing problem. There are two take-aways here if you're an app founder. 1. If usage is high. Run an A/B test to charge more. 2. If usage is low. Don't drop the price. Focus on providing more value to the user. Not sure how to do this? Comment a link to your app below and I'll give you some ideas.
