@AskNationwide There is a scam email doing the rounds claiming to be from Nationwide regarding a direct debit being set-up and if you know nothing about it to call a number. However, it is NOT a Nationwide number, and there are many reports of it here: who-called.co.uk/Number/0333054…

@misterdocuk @benjamin_cook The Australian TV company (ABC) considered it too violent and frightening. They did consider censoring it to remove the most violent and frightening scenes, but in the end felt that there would be too much work involved to do that so cancelled their purchase.

@TheCyberdevil Mine just arrived out of the blue this morning with Parcel Force. As you say, it's a copy of the standard version with the corrected discs rather than just the discs in plastic sleeves as with previous replacement programmes.

I’m hearing replacement discs are starting to be sent out for The Collection Season 20. Apparently rather send out just the discs, they are actually sending the standard version of the set.

@TheCyberdevil @willdofficiale No. It was originally scheduled to be released on VHS on 15 May 1996 with a "15" classification rating. But it's release was delayed by a week in order for cuts to be made and was officially released with a "12" rating on 22 May 1996.

@TheCyberdevil I know season 1 is mainly due to Coburn not playing fair with An earthly child. My guess the focus now will be finishing 3rd and 4th doctor's era. I wouldn't be surprised if the movie and modern series gets expanded collections and continues as a 4K remaster under the same banner

With Pete McTighe confirming what we all expected that 60's seasons being held back with The Collection, does that mean there's an intention to animated Wheel, Space Pirates and Marco Polo? Because if there wasn't, surely those sets would have been released by now?

@JordansCereals I see that your Frusli bars are the latest victims of 'shrinkflation'! I've just finished the last 30g bar from a pack of six and noticed that the next pack of six (for which I paid the same price) is smaller because the bars are now only 25g each! Sneaky... 😒
