@ambermac @SinaiHealth Great to see you come through your health challenges with resiliency and courage Amber! Glad you are healing well.
English

I (finally!) had surgery yesterday (total hysterectomy) and now the healing begins. Thanks to the amazing team @SinaiHealth.
After more than two years of #anemia due to #fibroids, ER stays, monthly infusions, hormone therapy, and one minimally invasive surgery cancelled in December and other procedures tried, looking forward to moving forward. 💕
Most importantly, let's invest in #WomensHealth so we get the funding and support we deserve.

Let's hope @FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam puts in a customer advocacy program. I need a clearance doc sent to my customs broker from Fedex and the ironically named @FedExHelp will only help after my package clears customs. And this is the 8th time this has happened.

@JustinTrudeau @FPChampagne Stop the Rogers-Shaw merger for the sake of Canadians. Less competition and wireless domination by incompetent @ROGERS execs is not good for Canada. Your failure to make Canada's wireless landscape competitive is being noticed. #StopRogersShaw

@torontostar reports Zac Carreiro, of @Rogers said Tues “the company has been listening to Canadians and customers from across the country about how significant the outage was for them.” The spin begins. PR response already a disaster. Rogers is on its heels. Take responsibility.
English

@TorontoStar reports @Rogers “network outage has stirred social media outrage, led to…many to say they plan to cancel their services with the company.” Many don’t have a choice bc there is a lack of competition in Canada. This needs to be addressed. @JustinTrudeau @FPChampagne
English

5 days of compensation @Rogers? This kind of response is why people think your company are full of greedy incompetent morons. Try making substantial genuine amends for your massive failure to serve Canadians.

The remedy is allowing more competition.
François-Philippe Champagne (FPC) 🇨🇦@FP_Champagne
The national outage of telecom services that millions of Canadians experienced in the last few days is unacceptable. Full stop. It affected people across the country, emergency services, small and medium size businesses and payment systems.
English

@infodonkey @Rogers It would have gotten them out of hot water (or at least cooled it to luke warm) with the CRTC cause you know a day of reckoning is coming from there. And a hack would make them look like the victims and less like incompetent stuffed suits.
English

Why scenario caused the @Rogers outage:
1) Hardware failure (unlikely, easy to fix)
2) Failed network server software update causing cascading failure (likely)
3) Cyber attack. (Nope, it would have been touted by Rogers execs)
4) Profit over product quality. (Yeah that's a given)
English

@andywalker @Rogers 5 - fat fingers during a supposedly routine operation.

My favorite tweet this week.
Aaron Fritschner@Fritschner
Hugh Grant tweeted a request at activists protesting outside Westminster to play the Benny Hill theme on their loudspeakers; when they did it became the soundtrack for street interviews with leading Tories trying explain the situation to the British people

Catch me on CP24 talking about the massive Canada crippling Rogers network outage at 930pm EDT tonight July 8 cp24.com
English

The Canadian government @FPChampagne @JustinTrudeau @CRTCeng needs to allow more competition in the broadband market in so that companies like @Rogers don't screw Canadians with their incompetance.
