excited to see him repping the industry in DC going forward! Uh, he is allowed to go to DC, right?

I spent the past few days in Washington with @hyperliquidpc meeting with policymakers during the historic advancement of the Clarity Act. We discussed Hyperliquid, the benefits that it offers to American consumers, and the regulatory path to bring onchain derivatives markets into the United States. Some conversations were technical with an impressive baseline understanding of Hyperliquid. Discussions included how onchain trading is a financial innovation that has clear global user demand. Other conversations focused more on a first principles introduction to defi and the promise of onchain markets. It was encouraging to see bipartisan support for thoughtful regulation of crypto. I look forward to continuing discussions in DC and working hard to make American access to Hyperliquid a reality.

in our simulations we expect to fill hlevm blocks rather quickly, and will be requesting an increase to hlevm block space to increase our throughput (currently ~20/30 confirmed open/closes per second) this will be the first app using precompiles heavily (that i know of) and should drive massively increased activity and gas spend on hlevm

Right now @hyperliquidx vaults are broken: – 10k $ opening fee – no HIP-3, HIP-4 or spot markets – no social layer – early believers get no upside – hard to scale – weak trader incentives We are fixing all of that. If interested, feel free to DM!

most ppl misunderstand wit which is one of my favorite qualities in a human & it’s surprisingly very rare. lots associate it with humor but that’s not the case. wit is the ability to notice a relationship between two things that should not obviously belong together, then deliver it before the social moment decays. that’s why it feels alive. wit is intelligence under latency constraints. as if opus or a deep thinking model had near zero latency.

Luck.io@luckio

Luckio is closing down soon! 🍀 In preparation for closure, we recommend all players transfer their funds out of their Smart Vaults. You can do this directly via the Luck.io website or using the Vault Withdrawal Tool by Proov Protocol (linked in the next Tweet). What started as a concept soon became the largest and fastest growing on-chain casino. The concept works. We hope the tech powering Luckio will find a new home in the near future 👀 Thank you for playing on Luckio!

randomness interview question: suppose you want to let people gamble on provably fair, instant coin flips (such that the algorithm is publicly known or, better yet, decentralized) one naive idea is up/down markets on bitcoin there’s an inherent tradeoff between speed and fairness—if you bet on next-tick direction, someone might be able to influence the next tick in favor of their flip at low cost. but 1-minute markets take forever to resolve one improvement you might suggest: “out of 10 highly liquid instruments, return heads if an even number of them go up next tick” now you’re getting somewhere, but not quite. prove that, even if nobody influences or knows the next-tick direction of any asset (since they’d have better things to do with their time if they did), this algorithm can be exploited hint: you’re cooking if using 11 assets instead of 10 would fudge your one-line argument
