He took the greatest military force in world history, lost a war to a middle power in a week, begged the world to save him, and demanded that the media lie about this and everything else. I try, but at a simple human level I do not see how anyone can mistake this man’s almost supernatural weakness for strength. His weakness is something negative, gravitational, so deep that it can draw in a whole country. But only if we fail to see it. Only if we let it.

I saw Trump’s interview where he says Ukraine would have been taken in a single day if the U.S. hadn’t helped. Seriously? I remember February 2022 very clearly. The whole world wasn’t helping it was watching. The discussion wasn’t “how to save Ukraine,” but “how many days it will last”, three, maybe a week at most. Many embassies were closing, and politicians openly talked about the inevitable fall of Kyiv. The first aid, which we could laugh at because it was almost nothing, came only after we had liberated the Kyiv region. Before that, nobody wanted to help us. And while the world was “assessing the situation,” we were already stopping the advance near Kyiv, holding Kharkiv, going out to protest in occupied cities, and blocking military vehicles with our bare hands.

Donald Trump has: - threatened Canada (a NATO member) with invasion - threatened to occupy Greenland (part of Denmark, a NATO member) - announced several times that he wants to leave NATO - refused to support Ukraine, even though the United States gave security assurances to Ukraine in the Budapester Memorandum of 1994 - actively finances Putin‘s war against Ukraine by easing sanctions against Russia - denied that soldiers from European countries have ever supported the United States and thereby - spitting on the legacy of fallen European soldiers who supported U.S. operations - imposed witless tariffs on its allies - insulted the leaders of allied countries over the past months And now he wonders why not everyone comes running when he calls. The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is a mess for the whole world. But Donald Trump himself is responsible for this geopolitical chaos.

Ukraine crushed NATO partners during naval exercises near the coast of Portugal. Ukrainian Magura V7 naval drones simulated the sinking of a frigate during the drills. After several simulated hits, NATO sailors even wrote in the chat: “So are you going to attack us or not?” — not realizing they had already been attacked. Ukrainian operators commanded the “red team” and won all five combat scenarios. The exercises highlighted something important: unmanned naval systems, combined with Ukraine’s real combat experience and operational planning, can pose a serious challenge to traditional naval forces. They also demonstrated that many militaries — including NATO — are still not prepared for this new type of warfare.
