Duke’s two most disappointing and “embarrassing” ends to seasons over the last decade were losses in the FINAL FOUR. I can’t even imagine what would have happened on here if they lost in the first round to a sixteen seed. Dodged a bullet. Entire program has to be better.

Penn's TJ Power (illness) is questionable for Thursday's NCAA Tournament game against Illinois, per the NCAA Injury Report. Averages 16.8 PPG and 7.9 RPG.

Am I the only one finding it odd that many of these tournament teams have players with illnesses all of a sudden? 2020 PTSD.

@ryanhammer09 Ryan, how does the worst 1 seed, Florida, get 280th kenpom PVAM, while the top overall seed Duke gets 181st Kenpom Siena. Not sure I’ve seen a bigger swing and a miss by the committee, along with murderer’s row of an east region.

Nobody wants Ngongba back more than cam boozer. He’s exhausted. Has no help in the paint when Maliq is on the bench in foul trouble. He’s also not a center, he’s a 6’9 power forward. Duke needs Ngongba back so fucking bad

@Rhody_Ridge @PatrickWelter He’s struggled a bit with bigger defenders. Tcu doesn’t have anyone over 6’8. Yes they’re physical, but they’re not tall or long. He should bounce back Saturday.

More concerned about Cam Boozer shooting 5-16 from the field (mostly in the paint) with 5 turnovers! It is his 3rd game in a row with crappy shooting and turnovers. While Cam shot well at the free throw line (13-14), he missed a lot of easy shots and lay-ups...even the announcers noticed....and was fortunate that the Refs called fouls merely because there were so many arms up in the triple teams around Cam as he quadruple head-faked instead of kicking it out to the wide open shooters. Both Boozers like to drive to the hoop with blinders on and into a triple team while ignoring the open players on the perimeter or off-ball. This is where Duke misses Foster and his great court vision. Also, in the last few games Maliq has been getting in early foul trouble with some very undisciplined stupid fouls. Other than his offense in the 1st half today, Evans has been the most consistent player defensively and offensively for Duke since the injuries.

#Duke didn't lose, but you wouldn't know it in the locker room. A disappointed and frustrated group after a 71-65 win over Siena. No one more upset than Isaiah Evans who put a lot of it on his shoulders.

The over inflated ncaa tournament balls are intentional. It creates chaos, evens the playing field. Gives the cinderellas a chance. Therefore, being a Duke fan, I fucking hate it.
