The right and the left are converging in Abdul El-Sayed—the Mamdani of Michigan—who is running on an America First, Israel Last platform. He's doing something entirely new: trying to connect America's defense spending on Israel—which accounted for ~.05%% of federal spending in 2025—to affordability. "I’m fucking from Michigan," he told the crowd on Tuesday night. "I want my tax dollars spent in Michigan, protecting Michigan kids, providing Michigan healthcare, fixing Michigan roads, building Michigan schools." It’s the kind of America First appeal you might expect to hear at a Trump rally or from Tucker Carlson.

Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed claims he’s running on affordability. So why did he just appear onstage with anti-Israel radical Hasan Piker? Much of what I saw felt more fitting for a MAGA rally. Only instead of immigrants or trans people, the target was Israel.

Your community is largely comprised of foreign bots and permanently sheltered incels who do nothing except yap online. Trump is in office because the same terminally online shut ins who shriek about resistance and being antifa soldiers can’t even be assed to go vote You’ll never have any meaningful power, and the far left hellholes like Dearborn where your ideology is at home will become uninhabitable in such short time that even your victories are losses

The saddest advisory: after at least 100 Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, advice should you come across a parentless child. It says stay calm and reassure them, take them to the nearest rescue centre, call the authorities

Abdul El-Sayed, who is Muslim, walks a fine line on the Jewish state. On Tuesday night, he told the crowd—as he does often—that his problem is not with Jews. “All of us love and revere Jewish folk, our Jewish neighbors, the faith of Judaism,” he said, hands outstretched. Later that night, in a makeshift spin room assembled by the campaign, he rebuffed my question on whether he believes in Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. “What do you mean by ‘Jewish state?’ ” he retorted, narrowing his eyes. “If you can’t answer that question, I’m not going to answer it.” For someone who often waves around his respect for Judaism, he seemed unaware of something elementary: Judaism is not only a religion, but a people with a long-standing connection to Israel that runs through its prayers, traditions, and history.

@hasanthehun The problem with tying it back to illegality and immorality is that the Dems don't have a sense of what either mean.

democrats are ofc once again failing to distinguish how they have a different approach than trump. they come across like they agree with the goals, just not the methods of trump that have now demonstrably failed. -dems should always tie this back to the illegality, and immorality of engaging in this unjust and costly war against iran to begin with. -reinforce demands to restrain israel, which brought us into this war. -and talk about the only time we achieved success with iran's enrichment program, obama's JCPOA - through diplomacy. (which schumer opposed at the time)

This is a victory for the United States that President Trump and our incredible military made happen. From the very beginning of Operation Epic Fury, President Trump estimated this would be a 4-6 week operation. Thanks to the unbelievable capabilities of our warriors, we have achieved and exceeded our core military objectives in 38 days. More on that tomorrow morning from @SecWar and Chairman Caine! The success of our military created maximum leverage, allowing President Trump and the team to engage in tough negotiations that have now created an opening for a diplomatic solution and long-term peace. Additionally, President Trump got the Strait of Hormuz reopened. Never underestimate President Trump’s ability to successfully advance America’s interests and broker peace.

lol We will see about that Do countries that are winning wars typically elect crippled homosexuals (death penalty) and rely on children to strap themselves to power plants? I’m a lil fuzzy on history, but don’t recall victors who have the strapped children down as winning many wars But do keep guzzling that Iranian jizz

I cannot emphasize this enough. A new dynamic will be at play when the US and Iran meet in Islamabad to negotiate a final deal based on Iran's 10-point plan: Trump's failed war has eliminated the potency of American military threats in US-Iran diplomacy. The US can still issue threats, but everyone will know that they no longer carry much weight. Essentially, war with Iran was tried and failed. As a result, negotiations will have to be based on genuine compromises from both sides, rather than coercion from either side.

I was responding to your previous post. Do you have trouble with reading comprehension? What I said was that it would be stupid to expect any journalist to have to get government approval or clearance before publishing their story. Journalists must remain fully independent—that’s a cornerstone of a free press. At the same time, they have a serious responsibility to use common sense and good judgment. They should think twice before publishing information that could compromise national security or place innocent people in harm’s way. Independence doesn’t mean recklessness.

Didn’t suggest anything that stupid? And how stupid of you to even think that would be something demanded in our country. No it’s called good old common sense to use considering the high risk and dangerous situation that weapons officer was in. And if someone is too ignorant to understand that then they have no business being a journalist!

If @JDVance really opposes the war like he keeps leaking to the press he can do what Trump’s last VP did & buck him right now in this moment of choosing. It’s not easy but @Mike_Pence did the right thing. If Vance doesn’t, no amount of leaking can help him, he owns this
