I saw the $400k MRR screenshots from @madebycol so of course I had to investigate turns out she's built 4 apps—first one hit 150k MRR, second 250k MRR, latest two in stealth at 400k MRR combined. been running the UGC playbook for years. we went deep on the growth strats👇 0:00 Nicole's App Portfolio and Numbers 2:14 How GlamUp Was Born in a 10-Minute Phone Call 5:29 The Copycat App That Made Them $100K in a Week 9:49 The Viral TikTok Formula They Ran Across 40 Creators 17:16 The Referral System That Took Over TikTok Comments 22:43 What Happened When They Tripled the Price 24:50 The Discounted Paywall Strategy and Upgrade Triggers 30:28 Scaling Sprout to 250K MRR and 100M Monthly Views 31:42 Inside the Creator Course That Gets People Viral in 2 Weeks 44:42 The Paywall Test That Showed a 50% Conversion Increase 53:16 Advice Most App Founders Never Hear

today is day 100 since launching my app we reached ~$25k/mo honestly, when I posted "goal is to reach $10k/month in 100 days" I didn't think it would be possible i thought to myself, i would be happy to achieve just half of that. it doesn't hurt to dream big right? but you know what? i think it only worked because we dreamed big so dream bigger if you're a serious founder who's want to build the right product for the right customer, i'm 100% sure that it's a matter of time until you surpass your goals but i'm also 1000% sure if you're just trying the easy way out by creating ai slop, copying apps, and spamming reddit for a quick buck, you'll fail no, this is not about morality. it's about you. you won't learn anything meaningful by creating slop, copying, and spamming. be very conscious about what you're building, experiment more, talk to customers, and learn. be honest with yourself i know it can be frustrating to have no users & no revenue for the first 50 days since launch but guess what - that learning is far more valuable than you think and will get you far it's your knowledge and experience that others can't copy and can't ask ai to replicate your moat and edge isn't your product. it's you. so give yourself some respect and start learning. if you read up to this point, you're probably serious about the game and attempting to build something meaningful. to make up for your time, here's my secret that everyone knows but never practices: 1. launch quick (max 1 week) 2. get user feedback 3. change 1 variable based on feedback 4. repeat yeah it's boring but it works - that's how i got to $25k/mo but key skill here is to ask the right questions if this is something that you're having a hard time with, leave a link to your product and I'll try to reply a question worth asking yourself or your users hopefully that'll shorten the time needed for you to get your first paid customer i learned so much from X, and i'll do my best to give back -- next goal: $1m/year until eoy

today is day 150 of launching my app and we just crossed $35k/mo it's been a while since I last posted about our growth and that's because sharing my journey has been doing more bad than good: - negative reviews from users who haven't even tried out the app - attempts to attack our servers - blatant copycats (so far i've seen 5 with literally the same name, font, screens) - scam dms ofc I expected them to a certain degree but at this point it's making me rethink about the whole point of building in public as it does more harm than good the goal for sharing was to inspire more builders and help them learn from my mistakes i am still hoping to do this in some way or form where I can reach more 'good' people but sharing on X doesnt seem like the best fit, as some people take it in ways that does not make sharing worth it this will probably be my last post until we reach the goal of $1M/year or idk when or i hope someone proves me wrong about my thoughts about sharing my journey! until then, i genuinely hope everyone building with a good heart wins because you guys deserve it keep going my friends.

Seeing $100k+/month in revenue for the first time 🚀 Crying from happiness. It took me 2.5 years to reach this. From zero. Had to go through hell: account deletion, lawsuits, losses, debt, frozen accounts, countless mistakes. Just believe in yourself and don’t give up. You can work in public. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. That’s how you find what works. And the most unusual part, you can scroll through my entire X. I documented every step. What I shipped, what I tested. You can watch the video about me. @adamlyttleapps made a great episode, and nothing has changed since then. I just keep hitting the same point, slowly but consistently, and it’s starting to pay off.
