Yesterday in Vienna, Minister @onduhungirehe met with Ms. Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria. They discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on shared priorities, including the situation in the region.

Je lui ai exprimé, au nom de la famille francophone, notre pleine solidarité et volonté de contribuer - même modestement - à la sortie de cette énième crise dramatique pour la stabilité du pays. A delegation of the Government of Rwanda led by the Hon Ministers of Interior and Defence is attending the Munich Security Council.#MSC 2026. The delegation participated in various discussions, sharing Rwanda’s perspective on current geopolitical dynamics. Bilateral meetings were also held with representatives of various partner Governments, aimed at advancing matters of mutual interest.

The 2025 Global Report of Transparency International @anticorruption is out. Where are we and what to retain? 1. #Rwanda scored 58%; ranking 41st out of 182 countries from all continents. 2. #Rwanda ranks 3rd in #Africa, equally with #Botswana; surpassed only by 02 countries - #Seychelles & #CapeVerde. In all #Africa, Only these 04 countries scored above 50% . 3. They are 20 least countries ( out of 182), which scored 20% or less. 8 of them are in #Africa, and 04 of them are in #EAC, incl. our 02 immediate neigbors. 4. Compared to 25 Members of the #EU, #Rwanda ranks better than 12 #European Union Member States; is behind 12, and has an equal score with 01 (#Slovenia). Perfectly in the middle! 5. In light of this report , two things need to be said: a. Well deserved congratulations to #Rwanda, its People and its Leadership for amazing resilience and inspiring performance. For the last 20 years or so, Our choices of #accountability have worked. b. Let us renew commitment; we can do even better, much better than this. Its a matter of consistency- aligning policy with practice.
