The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of ‌Appeals in New Orleans declared today that a 158-year-old federal ban on home distilling is unconstitutional. They called it an unnecessary and improper means for ​Congress to exercise its power to tax.

That’s probably very astute. I watched a big handle see my statehouse work- that I sent him thinking he was decent natured, go back and record the segment himself, and go viral. This has happened a number of times. It makes watching our legislators and recording 8 hours a day and posting the pertinent footage fatiguing; if in the end grifters just take advantage. We put in a lot of work and time. Grateful for people like Gunther who are big but also posting what we send them when the state needs national attention. I don’t care what he makes.

There will likely be votes to expel two members of Congress next week. I really don’t care what side you are on. If you are stealing FEMA funds, sexually assaulting women, harassing them, etc. you need to get out of the House of Representatives. Well, I’m not monetized and I’m not interested in being monetized. I’m interested in the voices of people. I’m interested in what ideas actual people who share my views have to get us out of the moral/cultural global mess this country is in. If it wasn’t for the grifters, your post could’ve moved much more freely.

If you’re monetized a single viral goes a long way. Not $1000+ a long way, but I go from a $60 payout to maybe $200. I was able to reach out to a friend to post my video- even beyond $- to fight to make sure the WH saw it. They showed up to the state the next day like “what is Idaho doing?” (Exactly what I wanted. I think many people were pushing to get info there. Was it me? Can’t be certain) but that is powerful. Again- wasn’t for personal enrichment. It was to help the state. But I could see people paying for personal enrichment purposes.

Tucker wasn’t fired from Fox because of Trump, he was fired because of the sexual harassment suits filed, because he was horrible to work with and because the private text messages that were released from Tucker contradicted what he said in public: 1. He “hated” Donald Trump passionately and that Trump was a “disaster” and not good for the country. 2. He said allegations about Dominion were “insane” and not credible. He admitted there was no real evidence of widespread fraud but he didn’t want to lose his audience. 3. “One text (revealed later) described a violent incident and included a reflection where Carlson said he found himself briefly rooting for violence before realizing it was wrong.” Quit the revisionist history. We are all old enough to remember what happened 5 years ago.

Jesus truly lived in poverty; his only assets were those garments on his back and the sandals on his feet. The Pope lives in a gilded city in the lap of luxury behind locked gates. 🙄🙄🙄

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

The donations from Dan Driscoll's wife are extremely strange and hard to interpret unless it's in the context of Jake Sullivan. However, what makes me more worried is that Dan Driscoll has a history of doing what he's alleged to be doing. He unilaterally traveled to meet with Zelensky, without Hegseth's knowledge. I was raised in a military family and married a Uniformed Services officer. I don't trust military leadership like this.

It’s gotten to where you can’t share one good moment on social media without somebody showing up determined to sour it. You post something happy, or a moment of your life and here come the snide remarks, the bitterness, the one-upping, or the people who somehow make your moment about themselves. Not everything needs to be dragged down to match someone else’s misery. Sometimes people are just sharing a little joy. Try letting it exist. Amazing how some people can’t scroll past somebody else’s happiness without stopping to take a bite out of it. You share a nice moment, and suddenly the bitter brigade arrives with snide remarks, backhanded comments, and that weird need to make everything about themselves. Some folks don’t know how to witness joy unless they can insult it first. Not every joyful post is an invitation for bitterness. Have people forgotten how to just say, “That’s nice” and keep moving? No worries, I won’t be posting any more personal life moments. I’m sorry so many of you had a miserable life also so did I, but there were a few moments that were nice and I choose to dwell on those now. I guess it’s true. Rage bait is all people want.
