@sardesairajdeep @ECISVEEP The SIR BLO wants only previous SIR data held in 2002 which is not available. Not bothered if i was serving IAF officer that time, have Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, own property. So I am going to be left out. What kind of SIR is this?

BIG: SC upholds @ECISVEEP power to conduct SIR. What the apex court still hasn’t addressed: what happens to the LAKHS of LEGAL Indian citizens who were left out of SIR. Do they lose their constitutionally guaranteed right to vote and welfare benefits only because SIR was conducted in undue haste and by including a ‘logical discrepancy’ algorithm? When will SC address the elephant in the room?

From a Pilots Cockpit ... I am Wg Cdr Namansh Syal, Service No. 30*** * Squadron, Indian Air Force. 21 November 2025 #Dubai Air Show. Another operational display. Another chance to put India’s flag in the sky and let the world see what Indian engineering and Indian pilots stand for. My aircraft: LCA Tejas. A symbol of Atmanirbhar Bharat. A machine built with Indian hands, flown with Indian pride. As I rolled out for the demo, my briefing was simple: Execute with precision. Represent the Service with honour. Show the world the capability of a nation rising. Low roll. Negative-G turn. Every manoeuvre timed to the second. Every move a message: India is not behind. India will not stay behind. Then came the moment every pilot trains for but never wishes to face. • Systems fail. • Situations collapse. • Time compresses. In that instant, the uniform speaks louder than fear. The code becomes your compass: • Protect civilians. • Protect the service. • Protect the tricolour’s dignity.🇮🇳 I turned her away from the crowd. because one pilot’s life is never worth another innocent’s. Because that is the oath we take when we wear the blue uniform. The world may see only a crash. But the Air Force knows. A pilot’s last decision is his true salute to the nation. Tejas will fly again. India will build stronger. Our skies will remain defended.. because sacrifice fuels progress, and determination builds capability. If this is where my sortie ends, let it be remembered for one thing. The Indian Air Force does not step back. The Indian Air Force stands for Bharat...always. • For the Squadron. • For the Service. • For the Nation. जय हिन्द.🇮🇳

@Indrani1_Roy @sajaniaf Very strange argument. Firstly, it is Hindustan 228. Secondly, where are the state officials traveling? Do they need jets? H228 offers amazing versatility to take them to remote locations and semi prepared strips. Its fuel economy is legendary. It comes with a state of art suite

Many state govts own flying machines for use by senior ministers. Is there a better way to promote ‘nirbharta than have a provision to procure only HAL manufactured aircraft? Do-228s and ALH could do with some orders.

As you all know, I have started using @Arattai for last few days and almost 20 - 25 close circles have also joined. We are trying to have all communications on this platform, but still there are some sync issues, but we know they are getting fixed, as I type. Audio and Video work seamlessly. In addition to my gmail, I also started using Zohomail for all my communications. In the last one week of usage, it has been seamless and I have been responding to all emails on Zoho from you all. In gmail, over last decade, I connected to over 10000+ of you all. In Zoho, in last one week, I have responded to over 30+ emails, which is a good start. Nice to see many shifting to Zoho Email as well. Normally I use Google Meet to connect with my students, and it works seamlessly. Today, I tried Zoho Meeting with one of my students. @ZohoMeeting Here is my candid feedback (using Free Version only): - The interface is clean, options are clear - In scheduling meetings, I am not able to schedule for a full day (like in Zoom or Google Meet, we have All day scheduling) - Inspite of having high speed internet, I must say that there was heavy lag in the video conferencing, especially when I share my screen with the student. The video was getting stuck and it was not very seamless. - I wanted an option where I can admit my student after I join the meeting, but I do not see that option as well. This is useful, when we want to admit students at our time. - I use windows machine, but my student was using a Mac. He had to install the app in order to join. Just wanted to know, if app always needs to be downloaded to join the meeting for Apple? In windows, I could join in browser version without the app. Please let us know. Overall, I was not very satisfied with the experience and hence went back to Google Meet for my sessions. Of course, Arattai and Zoho Email are doing very well and I intend to use them. I really want to begin using Zoho Meeting also, as it stabilizes. I interact with lots of students, and it would help. I hope Zoho Meeting can also give seamless experience for all of us. Any suggestions from the team or users, on my usage, tips or tweaks which I should try is welcome @svembu !!! Cheers to Indian solutions, #FI

Clearing the air 🎉 @Arattai is proudly built in India 🇮🇳, hosted in India, and runs on our own infra 💛 #MadeInIndia #Arattai
Sridhar Vembu@svembu

There are questions about where Zoho is developed and where the data is hosted and who hosts it. There is a lot of false information we want to correct. 1. All the products are developed in India. Our global headquarters is in Chennai and we pay taxes in India on our global income. As a global corporation headquartered in India, we have offices in over 80 countries and have a strong presence in the US which is a big market for us. 2. Indian customer data is hosted in India (Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai, soon Odissa). We have over 18 data centers globally and they host the respective country or regional data. We are committed to hosting each country data in their own jurisdiction. 3. All our services run on hardware we own and software frameworks we developed, on top of open source like Linux OS and Postgres database. 4. We do not host our products on AWS or Azure. Arattai, specifically, is not hosted on AWS or Azure or GCloud. We use some of those services for regional switching nodes to speed up traffic but data is not stored in them. We are adding many such "points of presence" (POPs) as we speak. 5. Our Zoho Developer account in the App Store and Play Store lists our US office address because the account was registered in the very early days of those stores by one of our employees in the US just to test them out. We never changed that. We are proudly "Made in India, Made for the World" and we mean it🙏

We understand the push for Zoho to go public. But let me state the reality: Arattai would very likely not have been built by a public company that faces quarter to quarter financial pressure. It was a "hopelessly foolish" project, and even our employees had expressed scepticism that Arattai would ever gain any traction. We built it because we felt we need that kind of engineering capability in Bharat. We need a lot lot more of such capabilities in Bharat and we are on it. We have some very ambitious, long range R&D projects going on in Zoho, including compilers, databases, OS, security, hardware, chip design, robotics (not to mention AI) and on and on. In addition, we have invested in many R&D intensive companies that we know won't make money soon. Zoho is a kind of an industrial research lab that also makes money to fund itself. We essentially ignore short term profits, as long as we don't lose money. And we have a culture of founders and senior executives living frugally, like how good scientists and engineers in ISRO would live. To us that is the essence of Bharat. Japan operated that way when it was developing. Imagine saying all that to Wall Street or Dalal Street!
Venkatesh Alla@venkat_fin9

High time @Zoho gets listed in Indian stock markets. @svembu, India deserves a fair shot at investing in a true homegrown tech company.

@amitabhk87 Missing the point altogether and delusional. Focus areas - 1. Institutional corruption 2. Caste based reservation 3. What happened to "swach Bharat"? 4. Forget flyovers, give us pothole free roads and smooth traffic. 5. Inculcating basic civic sense and empathy.

I list 5 challenges that hold India back every single day. These are: 1. Sewage Free India;  2. Safe Water for Millions;  3. Light Green Battery;  4. Smart Agriculture;  5.120 Day Flyovers/Underpasses: We must throw Grand Challenges to our innovators-set bold targets, back them with resources, and give them the freedom to think differently, even to fail. This is how we will build an innovative India and create scalable solutions. This is how India will leapfrog into the future. This is how we change not only India, but the world. But for all this Govt must be the 1st buyer of new technology & help create a market. My article in today’s Times of India.

@airindia Extremely rude behaviour by Air India staff at Delhi Airport. She called us and called us to "help desk" without giving us location of help desk. We went all the way back but she, instead of guiding us to helpdesk, just cut off the phone saying "she has other jobs" 1/2

@AnchitGupta9 Delay of LCA and Kaveri not reaching it's full potential have cost us dearly. Stopping R & D after Marut is one of the main reasons of today's state. Today we have the tech. TEJAS Mk 2/AMCA/TEDBF need to be on mission mode if we have learnt anything from history. Or repeat...

This isn’t either/or. Atmanirbharta gives depth, targeted imports give speed, partnerships give absorption. Balance solves for money, time and threat. When the public debate stays binary, the clock wins first and finally the adversary. 24/24

A new Tejas order, the same old debate: atmanirbharta vs imports. Spare me the binaries. After years studying India’s acquisitions since 1947, I see nuance and a missing frame. We have a pattern , its either “hold the line” or “move the needle.” 🧵 (1/24) #IAFHistory

@AnchitGupta9 @zone5aviation @vayusena Many interesting anecdotes associated with ORP. 2 Eng run ups woke up whole station. CO & FLT CDR knew "boys" are "there". Late run up meant extra duties plus "beer". ORPs got mounted in a few hours notice in middle of night. That there was a party at HQ was a "coincidence"😀
