▪️Mutyam Reddy, a 36-year-old man from Gangapur village in Narayanakhed Mandal of Telangana’s Sangareddy district, was murdered by his wife Kalpana and her alleged lover. Police said Kalpana, who worked as a nurse in a private hospital, saw her husband as an obstacle in the relationship. ▪️According to investigators, Kalpana had been in an extramarital relationship with a man identified as Chintu for several months. Police said the two planned the murder together and allegedly killed Mutyam Reddy on the 16th of the month. ▪️Police further stated that Kalpana told villagers she wanted to build a memorial for her deceased brother. Using that pretext, a pit was dug with the help of a JCB machine in agricultural land on the outskirts of the village. Investigators reveal the accused later buried Mutyam Reddy’s body there. ▪️2 days later, on the 18th, Kalpana approached police and filed a missing person complaint regarding her husband. During the investigation, officers noticed inconsistencies in her statements, which raised suspicion around the disappearance. ▪️After sustained questioning, police said Kalpana allegedly confessed that she and her lover had murdered Mutyam Reddy and secretly buried the body. Acting on the confession, police exhumed the body nearly nine days later, registered a murder case against both accused, and took them into custody. #Mentoo #law #justice #husbandMurder
