As per Para 11.5.7 page 297 of Select Committee Report on IT Bill 2025 @FinMinIndia apprised the Committee that exemption of Income Tax on Disability Pension will continue as the Honorable SC has ordered to “Maintain Status Quo”. Now in Para 108 D(6) of Finance Bill 2026 this exemption has been taken away from those Disabled Soldiers who Superannuated. Was the Committee misled? @gen_arun @alfadelta0108 #KeepDisabilityPensionTaxFree. Govt. and bureaucrats misleading disabled soldiers and creating false narrative to deny tax exemption, which existed for 104 years. If the government is not able to give than atkeast do not deprive the disabled veterans..really shameful act.
