@gemsofbabus_ If we want efficient mobility, dedicated lanes for buses and public transport are the need of the hour.

🚨 Indore Metro Update! At present, weekly ridership is reportedly less than 500 commuters. Public transport fails when planning, connectivity & last-mile access are ignored.

Perplexity is so, so over. Cringe marketing campaign. Mogged by ChatGPT Search and Atlas. They should just pivot or close the company down and return money to investors.

@madhav1 @zephyr_z9 Comet is a Chromium fork. Atlas is a new architecture with ChatGPT built into the browser itself. More stable, smarter, and built for real AI workflows. It’s not even the same category.

@zephyr_z9 Not defending perplexity, never saw anyone using ChatGPT atlas irl, but saw people using comet 🤷‍♂️

@svembu I feel brands should focus more on improving their products instead of relying on nationalism as a marketing tool. A great product speaks louder than any campaign

Update on our Arattai messenger app: It is another example of our patient engineering approach at work. We have taken the time because we have to make it work in low end phones, low bandwidth networks (we test down to 8 kilobits/sec), offer outstanding privacy and security, and be very easy to use, all at the same time! We are diligently updating the app weekly. We are working on a lot of the features you expect and in another month, a lot of that will be done. We are also investing in the infrastructure for scaling. I am personally talking to the engineers daily on all this. We will launch a big marketing campaign once that is all in place. You will like the campaign! We are committed to offering the best messaging experience in the world. Stay tuned for more!

@burkov The place is Harihar fort. It’s the camera that makes it look scary. In reality, lots of my friends who’ve never trekked do it on their first try. The only thing to worry about is if you’re scared of heights.

Indian nationals seeking emergency assistance may call cell number +1-202-550-9931 (and WhatsApp). This number should be used only by Indian nationals seeking immediate emergency assistance and not for routine consular queries.

If you’re affected by the US $100k H1B, consider the UK Global Talent Visa. Thriving tech ecosystem in Europe, high quality work and life even if lower comp. Big tech comp is not that far from US comp. My prediction is that the UK and India are going to be *big* beneficiaries of this policy.

My respect for UI/UX designers just grew 10x after seeing how sloppy and unpolished AI-generated frontends are.

lots of cs students are thinking of deep learning code the same way they think about leet code. which confuse the hell out of them. deep learning code is closer to your grandma lemon pie recipe than leet code algorithms.

@mazeincoding I agree, GPT performs much better on the UI side, but it’s definitely lacking when it comes to backend development. I’ve been trying z.ai, It's on par with Claude in most areas, but since it’s Chinese, I wouldn’t want to send production code to their servers.
