And your question is what? ​Caller: I know bankruptcy is a big no-no with you, so I feel like I know the answer. But I was debating if I should file bankruptcy due to the massive amount of my debt and the fact that I only make $32,000 to $35,000. One of my creditors is attempting garnishment, and they want to take 25% of my take-home pay, which would be a lot for my family. ​Dave Ramsey: Who is attempting garnishment? ​Caller: One of the universities I owe. It's the $14,000 debt. ​Dave Ramsey: The $14,000. Okay. I'll tell you what. It's not a "big no-no" in the sense that I'm mad at you. It's just a matter of: does it do any good? ​Secondly, I always put bankruptcy and divorce in the same bucket: you try everything you can to keep from doing it. Anything you can do to avoid it, you avoid it. Sometimes good people face this. ​If you file bankruptcy, you're still going to have the $50,000 in student loan debt. It survives bankruptcy. So, you would be filing bankruptcy on about $60,000 of other debt, which would get rid of the garnishment. ​There is a "means test" when you file bankruptcy. If you make too much money and your income indicates you can pay your debts, they put you into a Chapter 13 payment plan rather than a Chapter 7. Looking at your situation, I think you'll pass that means test and qualify for a Chapter 7, which would wipe out everything else except those two student loans. That is what bankruptcy would do for you.

Genuinely, this is delusional paranoia. Canada is probably one of the SAFEST places in the world to be a Jew right now, I live a life of great comfort here, and I don't even have the kind of wealth this guy does. The leader of the Federal NDP is a Jew, we hold positions of power.
