I’m optimistic about “consortium consistency” - combining responses from different LLMs. I expect many AI use cases where minimising hallucinations + low cost will be more important than frontier reasoning performance, which these approaches might be good for.

🚨New Paper 🎻 On Bob Dylan: A Computational Perspective In this work, I use LLM (o3) to explore how @bobdylan's ever-evolving lyrical themes break expectations and challenge convention (i.e., dishabituation). This method can be used an artist’s cultural and creative evolution in general.

New @AIatMeta paper explains when a smaller, curated dataset beats using everything. Standard training wastes effort because many examples are redundant or wrong. They formalize a label generator, a pruning oracle, and a learner. From this, they derive exact error laws and sharp regime switches. With a strong generator and plenty of data, keeping hard examples works best. With a weak generator or small data, keeping easy examples or keeping more helps. They analyze 2 modes, label agnostic by features and label aware that first filters wrong labels. ⚫️ I threw the data from Merge by @muratpak into Unreal Engine to visualize all 29k m tokens and 3k+ merges in real-time 3D. Switching between the beginning vs now to show how things changed in 4 months. Not sure where to take this yet...would be fun to let everyone try it!
