I don't know what to call this if it's not mischievousness. I am sure Mr. Obi knows that this same road is currently under reconstruction, but his daily need to romance his gullible audience pushed him to this wall of deceit. Facts About the Reconstruction of the Asaba–Benin Highway: >>Timeline: The reconstruction of the 125km Asaba–Benin highway was flagged off in March 2025, with an expected completion date of September 2027. >>Funding: It is fully funded under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. >>Scope: It features a 10-lane carriageway (five lanes on each side) spanning from King Square to the Benin bypass to ensure smooth traffic flow. Additionally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is currently executing the reconstruction of over 70 federal highways and strategic road projects simultaneously. These developments cover all 36 states, including major legacy highway corridors, regional superhighways, and targeted bridge reconstructions. Some of the key linking roads currently undergoing reconstruction include: - Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Dual Carriageway (350km). - Kano–Kongolam Road (132km). - Ibadan–Ife–Ilesa Road (103km). - Sokoto–Gusau–Funtau–Zaria Road (275km). - Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway (56km). - Benin–Asaba Superhighway (125km). - Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road Phase II (129.3km). - Enugu–Onitsha Expressway (72km). - Calabar-Ebonyi-Benue Trans-Saharan Superhighway: (Section 1 - 123km) This is an eyewitness account of the state of the Benin–Asaba road project around March this year. I believe honesty is simply not in Mr. Obi's dictionary.

President Bola Tinubu has formally transmitted a bill seeking to establish state police services across the country to the Senate, marking a significant step in the federal government's efforts to reform Nigeria's security architecture. The proposed legislation, titled the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Alteration) State Police Bill, 2026, seeks to amend the 1999 Constitution to create a constitutional framework for the establishment and operation of state police services. businessday.ng/uncategorized/…

Do you know that in 2022/2023, if Obidient influencers and their bots saw that you were supporting APC, they would go about insulting you and sending emails to your workplace so you could be sacked? They would even tell your work colleagues to be careful with you and stop interacting with you because you supported President Tinubu. 2022/2023 was a very funny period. They would even insult you and call you all sorts of names just because of politicians who wine and dine together. They are the worst thing to ever happen to our political space in Nigeria. Even some so-called friends who knew nothing about politics would join them to bring their friends down because of an election, just to silence them. @woye1 @egi_nupe @WOkene @Jamesbisodun @ennyola0015

Typical. So typical of the APC. Once they lose the argument, they retreat into hate mongering, ethnic slurs, and divisive rhetoric. The names are Gbadebo, Chinedu, Patrick RHODES-VIVOUR, Take your pick of any of the three and let's focus on the work you were entrusted to do. Wahab, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but not only have you been the worst Commissioner for Environment this state has seen, you have also been one of the most irresponsible, unbecoming occupants of public office. Again, you are not fit for public office. As I told you in 2024, for the next couple of months try an DO YOUR DAMN JOB!!! Ẹgbọn If you cant , you should resign. Today.

The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) Intervention Team has successfully cleared heaps of illegally dumped waste from the median of the Egbeda–Idimu Road and Lawanson, Surulere corridor. The Authority used the opportunity to reiterate its warning to residents, traders, and motorists against the unlawful disposal of refuse on road medians and other unauthorized locations, noting that such practices obstruct drainage channels, degrade the environment, and pose serious public health risks. LAWMA urged residents to patronize only approved waste collection services and comply with environmental sanitation regulations, stressing that violators will be sanctioned in accordance with extant laws of Lagos State. #CleanerLagos
