It has been 90 days since my channel has been terminated. I run a VOD channel for the streamer @Blueryai1 with over 350 uploaded VODs. The channel was terminated for “harassment and bullying,” despite having no content containing harassment or bullying toward any individual. Before termination, I received two strikes on the same video (the second after reuploading with the flagged portion edited out). Five days later, the channel was terminated. The first flagged clip involved the streamer making lighthearted jokes about a broken phone voluntarily submitted by a viewer for comedic purposes. The viewer did not feel harassed, bullied, or intimated, and no individual was present on screen and targeted with insults, yet the content was flagged for harassment. The second flagged clip was a reaction to "Last Chance High: Bad Boy School", an educational documentary about at-risk students. The streamer has previously reacted to this same video on his own channel in a multi-part series with millions of views and has received no policy violations. The clips and videos cited were satirical, comedic reactions not directed at any real person. There were no targeted insults, no attacks based on protected or intrinsic attributes, no intent to shame or threaten, no encouragement of abuse, no private information shown, and no minors targeted. We believe this termination was made in error due to a lack of context or misinterpretation by the automated system. We take YouTube’s policies seriously and respectfully request a human review with the full context and intent behind the content considered. Thank you. I feel sick to my stomach. This is the email i've just received in response from YouTube's support. They believe i'm still circumventing a ban and my termination is correct. This is despite all the proof that this is a blatant error in their AI. I don't know what to do.

I’m being tagged in a lot of questions and comments about content moderation right now, and so is @TeamYouTube. We see it, we feel it, we take it super seriously, and we want to address it:

YouTube solely relying on AI to make heavy decisions such as “bans” is completely reckless take a look at this, approximately 5,003,437 channels was TERMINATED within a span of just 6 months that’s 10,000,000 channels terminated per year but wait it gets even more crazier all of them ban decisions? done by their AI ‘automated systems’ which suggests if their AI was even 95% accurate on these bans.. that’s still 500,000 channels WRONGLY removed by their AI.. and what does their support do? either one of the three; • Channel will be stuck on “review” for months and months • Your appeal gets automatically denied by AI within a few seconds up to 5 minutes (they do “careful” reviews remember..” • Their support on here (X), pushes you aside and says “it looks like you’ve already appealed, you should receive an email outlining the results..” I personally feel saddened by YouTube since they aren’t helping me out, and it was my main job. I’m sure some of you guys can relate, and if you can, please do the following: retweet + comment (@ team youtube) to take a look, as this shouldn’t be ignored anymore

WE ARE BACK ONLINE 🥳🥳 Thank you all SO much for boosting my posts, I knew that I was NEVER at fault and this was an AI error. But this doesn't end with me, hundreds of people are being terminated DAILY due to similar errors. More people need our help. Don't stop pushing.

Its been 2 months since YouTube falsely terminated me for "harassment". 350+ VODs gone because of Youtube AI moderation. Never got a single strike until this video (Second strike after reuploading it edited) This is the "harassment" btw: @TeamYouTube Plz give me a human review

Wow... we just lost one of the best YouTube accounts with 600,000 subscribers... Fans from all over the world lost their favourite creator. AI moderation is out of control, @YouTube. Their AI bot claims we “impersonated” someone. And it's SUPER CRAZY, Because all of our content is 100% original, our logo is literally the face of the founder, and our channel name is his midlename!!!! Zeck Felms was the channel with the most loyal audience I’ve ever seen. We gained 600k subs from just 300m views on YouTube Shorts. And AI claims that we somehow impersonated Zack D Films. Let me clarify: 1. The account profile picture is the face of our founder, changed in a humorous way (screenshot attached) 2. All of our videos are original 3D animations that have NOTHING to do with Zack D Films, his ideas, or his personality 3. We operate in the brainrot and humor markets, completely different from Zack D Films 4. We have our own team of 12 people working FULL TIME on the channel, who are now ABOUT TO LOSE THEIR JOBS because of AI moderation If we were impersonating anyone, how would we build one of the most loyal audiences on YouTube that LOVED Zeck Felms and our videos? (screenshots attached) It makes absolutely no sense, yet our appeal was rejected by AI within an hour after we submitted it, WITH A STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO SHOWING HOW WE CREATE OUR ORIGINAL VIDEOS. I understand when YouTube wipes out AI, spam, and scam channels, But if it starts removing ORIGINAL 3D ANIMATED channels that literally take THOUSANDS of dollars to run, People will stop believing in the fairness of YouTube’s moderation. No one is going to put effort into their videos without safety or at LEAST clarity on why their channels are being removed. So YouTube’s AI response not only affects our channel, but affects our team, and millions of people whose lives were positively impacted by this channel. @YouTubeCreators @YouTube @TeamYouTube needs to look into this now. But what can you do? 1. Retweet this. If we spread awareness far enough, more people will learn about AI police brutality on YouTube and will protect themselves by going multiplatform, posting on Snapchat, Rumble, Facebook, and elsewhere. 2. If you’ve had a similar experience, reply or quote-tweet so YouTube notices your story too. Together we can convince YouTube to stop these false terminations. 3. Comment #freezeck if you were a fan of the channel -- Creators, stay strong, you deserve much more than you get. Together we will win this case, and many others. – Tim
