🔴It is almost 4 am here. New forced displacement orders for the city of Tyre under threat of death.

This is the new map of Gaza. Nearly 2 million people — most of them displaced — are now crammed into just 133 square kilometers. That is nearly 15,000 people per km².

Israel killed 9 paramedics in roughly 72 hours. Let that sink in. These are some of their faces. According to Lebanon’s latest health sector figures, now updated after the killing of additional paramedics in the last 48 hours: • 125 healthcare workers killed • 273 wounded • 149 attacks on the healthcare sector • 142 ambulances targeted • 32 medical centres destroyed • 16 hospitals forced out of service • 221 ambulance crews attacked Lebanon’s emergency sector is not collapsing accidentally. It is being systematically dismantled. Israel is committing war crimes against Lebanon’s medical services.

The moment Zionists massacred a team of rescue workers in a double tap. First they killed a father and his daughter, then bombed a medical team that arrived on the scene with their ambulance

Desperation of a Cuban mother that I interviewed last night who said she has no food for her children.

🚨This short film exposes the true story of Israel's creation, entirely through the words of its own founders For decades, Israel’s lies have been carefully designed to demonize its victims. To ensure that no matter the crimes it commits, the children it slaughters, the world remains incapable of empathy for Palestinians, or at best, treats it with the same apathy that has allowed this to go on for as long as it has On the 78th anniversary of its creation, it's time the world knew that Israel's past is not different from the brutal present the world is finally seeing

🇨🇺 BREAKING: Cuba is completely out of diesel and fuel oil Cuba has completely exhausted its diesel and fuel oil reserves, Energy Minister Vicente de la O Levy announced Wednesday on state media, prompting protests across the capital on Wednesday evening. Some districts in the capital are without light for 20 to 22 hours a day, the minister added in his announcement. Neither Mexico nor Venezuela, once top suppliers, have sent fuel since President Trump’s January 2026 executive order threatening tariffs on any country shipping fuel to Cuba. The United Nations last week called the fuel blockade unlawful, saying it had obstructed “the Cuban people’s right to development while undermining their rights to food, education, health, and water and sanitation.”

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…
