@SharpDressRab @jjones9 There are a number of SEC schools that are quite good academically. Feels unfair to say “some SEC school” when really you’re talking about the lower part of the conference

@CFBAnalytical This is great data, the back to back possessions were the only thing that was still making me think there may be some truth to the Middle 8 hype. If it’s a coin flip though on if you actually get the back to back possessions, then yeah it’s tough to argue in favor of the Middle 8

@jdpickell My biggest issue is what’s even the point of doing this? Feels like it implies that the only way to get their players to lift heavy is to take away the other options

I like what I'm seeing from Florida CB Devin Moore. Not a tall CB class. He's 6'2 with good eyes and feel. Gets pulled into off coverage here, maintains great positioning on the high corner, sees the crosser + understands the concept. Good ball tracking + attack.

@BrooksAustinBA Thoughts on how Buster will change up the offense at UF? Thinking he leans back towards his air raid roots more?

@BrooksAustinBA Here something thought wise for a video, have loved so much you do. A video of your top oc and dc in the country. That would be a good video.

@4D_BO @JoshPateCFB Maybe it’s not a good thing that a 10 seed made the championship game. Maybe they shouldn’t have loss 2 games to unranked teams in the regular season. I’d say the same thing about 2024 Ohio State

@JoshPateCFB The NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAAB etc ALL have a larger percentage of teams in the post-season than CFB (only 9%) by a WIDE margin yet pundits maintain a larger CFP would somehow ruin CFB. In a year where a 10 seed Miami made the championship game how can you maintain this stance?

@dren_braves And the reality is, a true salary cap would come with a player’s union and a contract bargaining agreement. Which would lead to a lot more player protections, compared to now when thousands of players are thrown to the streets by their old schools every year. It’s pro player

@prestonnwalshh Going with Philo is why the WR room is so good. If we were paying $4M to a top QB, we would not be able to allocate as many funds to receivers

Absolutely no disrespect to Philo and he really could end up being great, I understand the system QB and knowing the playbook situation but this is an insanely talented receiver room to settle with “well maybe it works”.

A newsy wrinkle from Bevacqua: As part of an MOU signed last spring, Notre Dame is assured of a CFP berth if it is ranked in the top 12 starting next year. If this year’s situation unfolds next year, the final at-large team (Miami) would have gotten bumped for No. 11 Notre Dame.

@GenBSGrant @RisonOnSports Yes, starting out 24-2 with a Big Ten championship at Indiana is the greatest coaching run in modern history even without a playoff win. And it’s not even close frankly

@HuskerScott89 @CFBReport Their current season would’ve been tied for their 3rd most wins in program history before Campbell got there. The fact that he’s elevated them to a level where 8-4 is considered “mid” for them shows how good of a coach he is. 8-4 was a miracle year for them before he got there

I don’t think people understand Iowa State was the WORST P5 program of ALL-TIME before Matt Campbell arrived. Before Campbell: (1895-2015) • .429 Win % ❌ • 0 10-Win Seasons ❌ • 2 AP T25 Finishes ❌ • 10 Seasons in AP T25 ❌ • 3 Bowl Wins ❌ IN 119 SEASONS. During Campbell: (2016-2025) • .567 Win % ✅ • 1 10-Win Season ✅ • 3 CFP T25 Finishes ✅ • 7 Seasons in AP T25 ✅ • 3 Bowl Wins ✅ IN 10 SEASONS.
